My wife and I have stayed in hotels many times when we traveled abroad. This time was the worst experience for us. On the first night of our stay at the hotel on 15/4, the weather was between 16 and 31 degrees. The hotel is a ground floor building, and my room was arranged on the 6th floor, near the top floor, facing the street. After checking in, I found that the air conditioner could not be turned on. I called the front desk customer service desk and asked them to arrange for someone to check it. The female staff at the front desk responded that the air conditioner was not broken, but the hotel needed to adjust the temperature of the air conditioning system according to the temperature. The current temperature has not yet reached the standard for the hotel to open the air conditioning system. I was stunned. The weather that day had reached 30 degrees, but it did not meet the standard? No air conditioning supply? My wife is very afraid of heat, so what should we do during the next 5 days we stay in this hotel? The front desk staff said that the windows could be opened and fans were provided, but all platforms stated that the hotel had air conditioning, which was not true. Traveling in an unfamiliar environment, plus the hotel fees have been fully paid, and I don’t want to spend a lot of energy and trouble dealing with these problems or looking for another hotel when traveling with my wife, so I can only continue to live in this hotel. My wife is so hot every night that she is uncomfortable and can’t fall asleep. The window that can only be opened 10 cm wide requires the curtains to be opened to let the wind in, but I lose my privacy. The noise from cars or pedestrians on the street in the early morning completely affects my sleep during those days. The biggest blow was that my friend also traveled to Beijing on 19/4 and stayed at the Park Plaza Hotel, and told me that the hotel had air conditioning. I really wanted to cry. The hotel's advantage is that it is located in the center of Wangfujing, but there are too many internal problems. I learned about the oldness of the hotel on different platforms before checking in, and I also understood that the hotel would face many problems if it were to be renovated, so my wife and I were mentally prepared. However, after checking in, we were definitely not surprised by the old wooden furniture, but the problem was in the bathroom. The door frame legs were rotten, and the toilet seat had traces of repainting, which was simply unacceptable. I don't know how this hotel got its 4 stars. The hotel kept replying to other guests that it would maintain the equipment, but is it expensive to replace the toilet seat?? It depends on repairing the paint for maintenance?? It's really not worth more than 500 yuan a night, and the hotel is not as good as an ordinary hotel. In addition, the hotel has a stern reminder in the room to guests to pay for damages to various facilities. However, the bathtub faucet in the bathroom was loose and I didn't even dare to pull the rod hard for fear that the faucet would fall apart. Do guests also need to pay for these damages? I dare not even think about it. Once again, this was the worst hotel experience my wife and I have ever had, and we will never recommend this hotel to our friends.
