We got a free suite upgrade on the first day, but they didn't tell us we'd be booked the next day, so we needed to vacate the room. Everyone was out and about, which made things a bit awkward.
The location is great, right next to Chaoyang Park, with a beautiful back garden. We were also given a suite on the first day, considering we were traveling with children. However, the suite... (It's likely for a bride's wedding.) It's large, but the walls are covered in tape. The service and facilities are indeed dated, and the TV doesn't work. But we liked the convenient location.

The stay was excellent. The hotel is pleasant, quiet, and comfortable. The night shift receptionist was particularly helpful. Arriving early in the morning, they were able to assist guests with their issues quickly and efficiently, and communication was smooth. The receptionist, Xiao Zhang, was also very friendly during check-out.
