Beijing Dongdan Hotel

There are abundant snacks in the restaurants around the hotel, with both northern and southern flavors. The hotel itself has not only a buffet restaurant for brunch, but also take-out for guests to choose from: big steamed buns, millet porridge, vegetable dumplings, vegetable nests, rice, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, stir-fried Chinese cabbage, shredded potatoes and other home-cooked dishes; the hotel has thoughtful service, timely cleaning, and convenient transportation. It is very close to Beijing Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, Union Hospital, China Women and Children's Museum, etc.

It's OK, but not very quiet.

The soundproofing is very poor. It was so noisy that I couldn't sleep at all in the first half of the night.

The location was great. The room was clean and the towels were changed frequently, which was nice. The room I booked was on the first floor, at the end of the hallway, so I think bugs might come in through the window. The noise and smell weren't too bad. I had a great stay at a good price.

I liked the hotel. It is located within walking distance from the pedestrian street Wangfuqing, the Forbidden City and the main square. The breakfast is varied, you can eat it 😅 the yogurt is excellent. The room is not big but everything you need is there. Water is renewed every day, snacks upon check-in. It seemed to me that the floors are not washed every day, but the garbage is removed. The air conditioner was a salvation. The staff is friendly and helpful 🤩
