Anxin Apartment (Beijing Shijingshan Road)

This is the same owner as the Apple Homestay and I don't buy both their ratings. Same here, impossibe to check in without contacting them and then you get some super weird and unfriendly generic answers like: "I don't have time right now." Then they never get back. Anyways, after multiple more attempts to contact them, they said I can leave my luggage at the supermarket. Well, okay. This place is slightly better than the other one. It has a kitchen with no utensils but it is declared as smoking area so at least the Chinese men aren't smoking in the dorm itself. Has a water dispenser, too. However, only one bathroom for around 16 people so there was always a queue. They can't close the doors quietly either. Had a nice view from the bed. However, the manager insisted that I do the registration with the police myself although I told him that over the past six weeks I never had to do it myself and that usually I just show him my passport and they do it super quickly. With hesitation, he did it for me but then became really unfriendly and wanted a thank you or something. He kept texting me on WeChat for no reason that it was my job to do it. So unprofessional. Just avoid, there is nothing to do in the area anyways. Cleanliness was okay but no toilet paper.
