Beijing Daxing District 5-star Hotels

We stayed at this hotel during a 15-hour layover in Beijing and overall had a good experience—we were able to rest well before our next flight. However, some aspects left mixed impressions. **Pros:** ✔ Comfortable rooms – clean, quiet, with cozy beds, allowing us to get proper sleep. ✔ Excellent breakfast – a wide variety of fresh and tasty dishes. **Cons:** ❌ Evening snack was included in the rate, but by 10:35 PM (with service until midnight), all the chafing dishes were empty, and the staff did not refill them. As a result, the only option left was broth with noodles—no rice or other choices. ❌ Airport shuttle made us wait 40 minutes, and no one answered our calls to the hotel, which added unnecessary stress after a long flight. The hotel is suitable for a short stopover, but the service could be more attentive, especially regarding food and shuttle arrangements. Hopefully, the management will take these points into account.

The room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The hotel offers plenty of amenities to help pass the time during transit or the evening before a flight. There’s even a library on-site, though the books are exclusively in Chinese. Access to Beijing Daxing Airport is extremely convenient, with a fully covered connection that makes getting there easy in any weather.

I felt very good from the moment I drove into the hotel yard. Manager Qiu at the front desk was polite and enthusiastic, with a very standardized service process, and gave children breakfast service. After entering the luxury suite, the waiter thoughtfully added a bed for the child. The hotel is very suitable for family travel in terms of hardware and software. The hotel has a fixed location for takeout, which guarantees the safety and confidentiality of the stay to the greatest extent. The breakfast buffet is also very popular with children, and I was fortunate to witness a wedding on Saturday morning. Facilities: Deluxe suite configuration that is in a standard manner. Hygiene: A very good sanitary environment for staying. Environment: The garden-style hotel is great. Service: Intimate butler-style service.

I hesitated for a long time whether to stay in Yizhuang or Chaoyang. Finally, because I wanted to experience Chaolin Songyuan, I chose to stay in Yizhuang and booked two nights in Chaolin Songyuan. Before checking in, I received a notice from the hotel asking us what time we would arrive and what our requirements were. It was already evening when we arrived, and we checked in quickly. When we got to the room, the welcome fruit had been placed and decorated with great care. There were nuts and dried fruits on the table, like fruit snacks for visiting relatives and friends, and a message card was attached. The Mini Bar not only provides high-quality drinks, but also homemade yogurt from the hotel, with flavored honey and jam. Drinking water is unlimited, and it is an old brand of noble mineral water. The slippers are really comfortable. They are the most comfortable slippers provided by all the hotels I have stayed in, and they beat those slippers in luxury hotels. In addition, the water temperature of the hotel swimming pool is just right, suitable for swimming in spring, how comfortable it is. Of course, the most comfortable thing is the professional, enthusiastic, caring and thoughtful service of the hotel staff. Whether it is Zhang, the housekeeper on the night of check-in, Mr. Wang Junshuai, the golden key when I extended my stay, or every staff member I met in the restaurant, at the door, and on the road, I deeply understand what it means to feel at home. After helping me to extend my stay, Mr. Wang would smile and call out my last name every time he saw me. He is worthy of being the golden key. It is precisely because the hotel makes people feel like spring breeze that we did not hesitate to extend our stay for another night before leaving the hotel reluctantly. This is the longest review I have written in decades on Ctrip, because I think Chaolin Songyuan is worth it.

Except that the hotel is little far from Beijing city, the rest assured you will enjoy the facility. The staff is friendly, food is tasty, rooms are very clean and well maintained, they take of every one very well, they help the customers who are struggling to find a way in Beijing and nearby cities. Totally amazing staff. I enjoyed my stay. Please visit them, you will also enjoy and feel comfortable. Thanks to the hotel team.

The front desk staff is professional and enthusiastic. The front desk lady/brother will take the initiative to greet with a smile, and patiently answer questions from consultation to business handling. The process is clear and efficient, making people feel at home. Room hygiene is the primary criterion for choosing a hotel. This place completely exceeded expectations. Every day when I come back, I can see that the room has been tidyed up again. Highly recommended for detail-oriented people! Must give a five-star praise!

Clean, small, modern, functional room. For me as European the breakfast was not very varied, mostly Chinese dishes. Also, no real lobby or place to sit outside your room. Good for a short one or max 2 night stay to visit highlights of Beijing but for longer stay where you would like some hotel comfort would not really recommend.

The expansive outdoor area features a man-made rock formation and waterfall, complemented by traditional Chinese decorations, making it stand out among similarly priced hotels in Beijing. Its proximity to the city center and subway station offers convenient transportation options, although some amenities appear somewhat dated. Additionally, after comparing the rooms and prices, I find Villa B to be my preferred choice over Villa A.

This hotel is absolutely perfection, with only two minor issues- the air conditioning in the room is set to 25° which was too hot for us, and we had a full body pat down by security every single time we came through the front doors of the hotel (only way to enter/exit), and every item on us had to be scanned through machine every time we entered hotel (including handbags, wallets, food delivered to us that was dropped off at designated table outside hotel). Everything else was absolutely perfect! Location, cleanliness, staff friendliness, the art around the hotel. Everything. *we did ask to reduce temperature in our room and three people came to do it. Though they only reduced to 23° though which was better, but still too warm.
