Everything was great except for the cleanliness... It is centrally located... There is a market underneath and it is open until 12:00 at night. The staff is friendly. You can stay safely...

I arrived in Batumi on the 17:05 train from Tbilisi. It was a little after the check-in time of 23:00, but they were able to accommodate me.
The entrance was hard to find, and you couldn't enter the building door without being given a number, so first enter through the backyard entrance on the left. You can enter through the door with the word Reception written on it.
It was nice that shoes were not allowed inside the building. (I wore the sandals I brought with me.)
The bed was spacious and clean.
When I was in the building, the shower on the left side didn't have hot water continuously, so please be careful. There didn't seem to be any shampoos.
There is a hair dryer.
There is a supermarket nearby that is open until midnight.
The manager was also kind and nice!
The location is also good, as there are tourist attractions and restaurants within walking distance.

Budget hostel, normal kitchen, liked the boxes where you can be alone, the staff tries as best they can, the water in the shower is sometimes hot, sometimes cold, be prepared for this.

Suddenly, the hotel I had previously booked had a problem, so I was able to make a reservation in a hurry thanks to Trip.com's quick response. I checked in to a single room because I couldn't share it with multiple people. You can smoke beer or tea in the beautifully decorated yard, and since it's a hostel, I thought it would be noisy until late at night, but I was able to sleep well after 10 p.m. I will definitely visit again next time. All major tourist attractions are within walking distance. Please note that there is a kimbap restaurant run by locals on the way to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Batumi behind the hotel. (Only take-out is allowed.) It's a perfect match with kimbap and lunch box ramen sold at the market after a tiring trip.

Karvi Hostel felt like home from the start. It’s clean and cozy, with super comfy beds and a big kitchen that has everything you could need. I loved having the balcony to smoke on—it was a nice little spot to hang out. The vibe is chill and welcoming, and it’s in such a convenient location. Shops, restaurants, and bus or train stations are all close by, which made getting around really easy. They even have a traveler map with all the must-see spots and useful directions. It’s warm everywhere in the hostel, and that cozy atmosphere made my stay so comfortable. It’s the perfect place to relax, meet nice people, and feel right at home.

This is my fourth time visiting this hostel, and to my surprise, they've moved to a new location just a few meters away from the previous one. The new place is fully renovated, with only a few small details still being finalized. The kitchen is spacious, equipped with all the necessary amenities, and even features a separate area for free food. There are large dining tables, making it perfect for group meals. The common area is cozy and inviting, with comfortable soft chairs, as well as a dedicated working space for those who need to get things done. The dorm beds are comfortable, with individual lockers for added security. The lighting in the dorms is thoughtfully designed so as not to disturb others. The hostel also offers paid laundry services, and the facilities include two large, comfortable showers and two toilets, all kept spotlessly clean. Overall, this is a convenient and well-maintained hostel located in the charming old part of Batumi. It’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a cozy, clean, and functional place to stay. Very bright with natural light but with dark curtains to provide privacy.
