Stayed in room 553 for 2 nights. Had a mixed experience of both good and terrible so I’ll try to review objectively.
Location wise it’s located in city center so convenient to grab a taxi or even walk to the Nagoya hill and nearby places.
Good selection of breakfast options and the food from live cooking station was superb, especially the fried rice
Regarding cleanliness, the reception was clean as expected, the 5th floor hallway had a smell of bad odor, but the room itself was relatively clean. Bathroom walls had a bit of mold stains left tho.
As for the service, the female receptionist ( I couldn’t get the name correctly but something like ‘Diswannii’ ) was especially rude. The day before our checkout we went to the reception to ask about where to buy ferry tickets from Batam to Bintan to one receptionist but she couldn’t speak English I presume, called for the rude female receptionist.
Then we proceed to explain to her that we want to get to Bintan with ferry tomorrow and want to know where to buy the tickets and how to get there.
She told us to get to Batam harbor and we can get the tickets there and get to Bintan
In reality we have to go to punggur ferry port to buy and get on board
She could’ve resolved the issue by either stating that it was a simple misunderstanding, but what she did was “FROWNED HER FACE AND RAISED HER VOICE “ towards us and was being very aggressive tone of voice towards us and trying to put the blame on us.Which is totally unacceptable.
A hotel having such kind of employee is at risk of damaging their reputation
Last point is their bed, me and my girlfriend had REALLY good night sleep during the stay which we think is due to their bed.
