The waiter tricked us into paying extra. The room was originally a family room where children can stay for free. We had to be good at foreign language skills, so we were tricked!

I wish they could get their heating/Aircon system to work. 2nd stay in as many years and same issue both times. And beware if you stay on the side near the Huntsman -who would think that a Monday night last call would be so loud???
Lovely to see Temple Spa in the bathroom though

The hotel is in a great location, in the center of Bath, an old house hotel, quite old. The breakfast is authentic Full English, better than many big hotels.

The hotel location is excellent and it has a lovely antique vibe with a modern twist, the bathroom is spacious as well. Things that could be improved: one light bulb is dead, the small bedside LED reading light on one side of our bed doesn't work, the kettle needs some descaling. We found a hair tie left on the floor carpet, maybe it was left by the last guest in the room.

The hotel had great location and tasty breakfast. The room was nice and good toilet. Great room service for bringing your delivered food to your room for you. However the staff needs to improve their communication skill and knowledge. I was told that I could buy breakfast prior to the day I want the breakfast and I didn’t have to book a time slot. However when I wanted to check out I was told that I was charged the price of the breakfast that is bought on the day, not the day prior. I later talked to the staff and they understood their staffs mistake. The hotel doesn’t have dinner service I was told.
