Lovely hotel in a central location ideal for exploring Bath. There are many good dining options within a short walk as well as a restaurant in the hotel. Our room was clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful both in the lobby and in the bar area.

We were aware of the construction work preventing the use of the lift and the car park, but neither affected our 2 night stay. As we pulled up outside, a member of staff came straight over and took the cases from my wife. He double-checked I knew where the local car park was before heading inside. The luggage was taken to our room, no questions asked, which was great as I had to go and park the car. All the staff in the hotel, the bar and the restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. Despite being an excellent location in the city centre, we didn't hear any noise in or outside the hotel overnight. In all honesty, really struggling to thing of any issues during our stay, and there wasn't really anything. Only bit of advice, as the eggs are cooked to order, place the egg order and wait for them to arrive before getting the rest of your breakfast, as it can be a good few minutes. ＜-- Real 1st world problem right there! :-) Would definitely stay there again if in Bath.

We’ve just returned from this hotel today. First impressions were amazing. Lovely building and fantastic decor. Love the mix of the old with a touch of modern decor. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming making a great impression on us at all times. Our room was beautiful lovely window to watch the world go by. The room and the bed were so comfortable and we had been left some chocolate deserts and hand written note wishing us a lovely anniversary which was such a lovely touch. Thank you! The bar area was beautiful and had a nice atmosphere and we enjoyed our breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant, which again was beautifully decorated. The location is fabulous. Would highly recommend a stay here and look forward to returning some time.

Impecable todo! excelente!! La habitación amplia, cómoda, bonita. El baño una delicia (y con productos de calidad) Los detalles en general muy lindos (hasta la música que dejaron en la radio y la bienvenida en el TV). Agua, jugos, café, té y snacks de cortesía (todo de calidad otra vez) Los empleados muy corteses y amables. Además muy bien ubicado, cerca de puntos importantes. Lamenté no hospedarme más tiempo allí (además el precio comparado con otros lugares no se puede creer! muy buena relación precio/calidad)

Staying here on my recent trip to Bath was the absolute highlight of my visit. The hotel is beautiful, especially the brasserie and bar areas. Our room was gorgeous, super clean, fantastic amenities and we had a special welcome treat ready for us arriving too! The meal at Emberwood was just incredible, your chef is very talented and the service the whole night from every member of staff was very warm and welcoming. Matthew and Shorshana (i hope i have spelled her name correctly) were so lovely, and my specially prepared irn bru welcome drink had me feeling right at home. Alex and Paige are fantastic also and i wished to thank them for their friendly service. I cannot wait to visit again once the spa is open!

There is no parking at the hotel so if you have heavy luggage, you have to lug it for 10 minutes before you reach the hotel. Parking is quite expensive if you’re staying over night. It cost us £20 to park in the car park the hotel recommends. There was no lift in operation in the hotel. The hotel was undergoing a lot of renovations which meant there was considerable noise from builders. I requested a cot in our room for our child but no cot was set up which was disappointing. The reception area is very underwhelming and quite small. There is a step before entering the hotel which would be difficult for disabled guests. The rotating doors are very narrow and are barely wide enough to fit a person. The restaurant and adjacent bar are very nicely decorated. The breakfast was excellent.
