Grosvenor Apartments in Bath - Great for Families, Groups, Couples, 80 sq m, Parking

Aged Elegance Yes, this property is 220 years old, but it is magnificent. The living room is expansive and the bedroom is huge. And it is all decorated with care and appropriateness. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and has a table for two, if you don’t want to spread out on the full dining table in the great room. We particularly liked the pillows. There were dozen on the bed, and four sofas! We can’t wait to return.

Spacious and comfortable Spacious and comfortable apartment. Only serious complaint was that someone had left rubbish outside front door that was there for the three days and was smelly and unwelcoming -easily managed even if its others within the apartment block were responsible.

The apartment was amazing, what a gem! Issue was the linens and bedding, there were not enough sheets, blankets, and pillows to properly set up the sofa beds and what was available very worn out. We had to hunt for extra bedding and found very little. Stains on the bedding and comforters was also a concern. The apartment was very clean!

The apartment is lovely, but it was noisy, hot (no fans either!) and the beds were like concrete! It was clean and tidy for the most part but the towels smelled of damp washing so we went out and got our own. I wouldn't recommend it - spend a bit more and go closer into town.

Lovely old place to stay

The price is good for Bath, and the location is OK with ample street parking. We stayed in the ground floor apartment, and it’s probably the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had. While the apartment has some character, it is filled with horrible furniture - a mismatch of neglected old cast-offs, and the cheapest, nastiest furniture from a discount warehouse. Just a few examples are rusty old bins in the kitchen, stained old lamps in the bedroom, a cheap bed with a broken base, and a grubby carpet sample as a bathmat :( The bedding we requested wasn’t available so we had to search drawers and cupboard to find extra and put the covers on. The duvets and pillows looked like they came from Primark and and had seen better days. All in all, rundown and miserable. It could be so much better with a bit of investment. It served our purpose for 1 night but glad I didn’t book for longer.
