The rooms themselves are passable, but staying here in the summer is nothing short of a nightmare. The heat is unbearable—like being trapped in a sauna—and for the price charged, it's absolutely outrageous. They provided a fan, but it was completely useless against the oppressive heat. I spent two sleepless, miserable nights here and would never recommend this place to anyone during the summer months. To the University of Bath: if you're going to charge exorbitant rates for summer accommodation, the very least you can do is provide proper air conditioning. Without it, you're not offering a service—you're subjecting people to discomfort and exhaustion. It’s unacceptable to expect guests to endure such conditions

Centrally located in Bath, Green Park House is a good place to stay despite the small rooms and underpowered electric ovens provided in shared kitchens. Sadly, if you are allocated a room at the back of the building your view is, quite literally, rubbish as the detritus from overflowing bins is spread around by the wind and resident seagulls. Four stars if the management could address this issue.

Good stay
A good solid room to stay in. Made me jealous of University students.

Great quality at a reasonable price
I was so pleased with the welcome at this Uni property! The staff was wonderful.
The location is great - a 7 minute walk from the Roman Baths which are the most central location.
I chose not to cook but could have due to proximity to supermarkets and the basic pots, pans and utensils provided. I did use the microwave and kettle which were new, clean and large.

Cheap and good stay if it's not a heatwave
Rooms are ok with a small kitchen corner. More space than a standard economy hotel room. The bed is a 3/4, so not massive but good enough to survive a night or two as a couple.
We stayed during one of the hottest weekends and the only drawback is the window which you can open only a tiny bit. Which doesn't let any airflow in the room. Thankfully there was a small fan provided.
