Hotels with Parking in Batam Center

I stayed for more than ten days and changed three rooms. The overall feeling was clean and hygienic, and the staff had a good attitude. Some rooms have old facilities and the air conditioner is a bit noisy. Some rooms do not have sockets suitable for China, so you need to ask the front desk for help.

I don't even know how to begin... overall, the service staff were very friendly. We knew the hotel was old so we were expecting the worst but got a newly renovated room instead and that was nice. But the renovation felt incomplete with a number of issues / poorly done, and weird things like a very very rusty shower soap rack (because it's clearly newly renovated, why is it rusty???). Amenities wise there's a hair dryer, 2 bottles and complimentary coffee and tea packets. Nothing in minibar. Room was spacious, but the safe was spoilt and way too small (barely can keep iPad level small). There's only one door lock and no extra chain lock on the door. I mean I didn't feel unsafe unsafe but at the same time I knew it was not really safe. The water turned a bit brown for about 3 minutes the first night (we suspect rust?) but didn't appear any more after. Drainage was okay but can be improved. Towels were stained and bedsheets not pristine. It's beside a school, so expect some noise if your staying in the morning on weekdays. There was also an air freshener in the room that went off every hour (literally every hour throughout the night) but I'm pretty 100% sure there was nothing in the air freshener. The weirdest part was the outside of the hotel - not the hotel property itself but the road leading up to it. It seemed completely abandoned and like it could collapse anytime. Overall - would not stay again but if no other choice, can make do. Paid about $160 for 3 nights.

Clean & Enjoyable stay!

The hotel rooms are only fairly clean, there are stains on the bedsheets. Even after changing, there are still stains. Cockroaches were spotted inside the room…. The food quality from hotel restaurant on the roof top was also terrible. The beef ribs tasted like rubber….. Only good thing is that the hotel is near shopping malls like Nagoya hill, only 10 mins car ride

5 star for the price and quality. RM52 equal to 159000 rupiah something like that, pay online. Got WiFi although not advertise. Bapak at counter willing to help carry my bag almost 20kgs. Got soap syampoo and disposable toothbrush tv with local channels. The AC brand aqua own by sanyo, pretty slow although full speed fan has been chosen. Took 1 hour to cooled myself. Hotel 01 Batam is the most unique Hotel, Interesting n very different from the norm.Egyptian theme decor with beautiful painting on the wall .Day time looks so bright n is great for Instagram photos. Nite time mysterious n so serene. 2nd stay there n is highly recommended as staff are pleasant , place very clean n is also reasonable.Location wise very good 5 mins Batam Ferry , Mega n Batam 1 mall. Worth a visit to this unique hotel.
