Popular Batam Center 4-star Hotels

I don't even know how to begin... overall, the service staff were very friendly. We knew the hotel was old so we were expecting the worst but got a newly renovated room instead and that was nice. But the renovation felt incomplete with a number of issues / poorly done, and weird things like a very very rusty shower soap rack (because it's clearly newly renovated, why is it rusty???). Amenities wise there's a hair dryer, 2 bottles and complimentary coffee and tea packets. Nothing in minibar. Room was spacious, but the safe was spoilt and way too small (barely can keep iPad level small). There's only one door lock and no extra chain lock on the door. I mean I didn't feel unsafe unsafe but at the same time I knew it was not really safe. The water turned a bit brown for about 3 minutes the first night (we suspect rust?) but didn't appear any more after. Drainage was okay but can be improved. Towels were stained and bedsheets not pristine. It's beside a school, so expect some noise if your staying in the morning on weekdays. There was also an air freshener in the room that went off every hour (literally every hour throughout the night) but I'm pretty 100% sure there was nothing in the air freshener. The weirdest part was the outside of the hotel - not the hotel property itself but the road leading up to it. It seemed completely abandoned and like it could collapse anytime. Overall - would not stay again but if no other choice, can make do. Paid about $160 for 3 nights.

Smooth check-in. Location is near Batam Centre Ferry Terminal. Room & toilet are spacious. I love their breakfast. There are various food & drinks.

Very comfortable stay in this hotel. Breakfast was good and location is superb, next to Batam Ferry Centre. Most importantly, service staff are friendly and smiley. Staff Asri stood out on my 1st day of checking into the hotel. Her service is excellent and her willingness to accommodate my request of having a room on high floor. Overall experience is favourable and will definitely come back again in my next Batam trip. Keep up the good work, team of Harris Batam Centre Hotel.

This was an amazing find. The rooms are so comfortable to be in. Though this is an apartment, it had everything that a hotel provides. This property is right beside the hotel so we enjoy the hotel benefits as well. They provide shuttle services to the malls and back. It has a few restaurants and they serve amazing food. There is a well known Eska massage place in the hotel too. Swimming pools are inviting. It is extremely windy at the pool area so falling asleep on the seats are highly likely especially after a meal. Definitely coming back. Confirm and double confirm.

The room is clean and odorless, with complete cabinets and appliances. The 30th floor has a unique view, the sea breeze is very good, the surrounding environment is quiet, the mattress is comfortable, and it is close to large shopping malls and piers. It is very convenient for eating, staying and traveling.
