This is our second visit to Ravenstone Lodge and it will not be our last, this is truly a little gem, from a warm welcome on arrival to clean and and sumptuous rooms with a massive comfortable bed, if you don’t get a good nights sleep here you never will. The food is exceptional from breakfast to the evening meals, the views from the lodge are stunning and with some beau walks close by, Charlie and his team are certainly running a very well organised hotel, nothing is to much trouble for them, we can’t wait to book again and relax and unwind in this beautiful little hotel.

This is a quality outfit. Charlie runs a well oiled machine! The staff are friendly and they communicate well. The rooms are stylish, modern and well appointed. The food is sensational and the wine list is exceptional. We’ve been away from home for 3 weeks, and this was our best experience.

If I was running a small hotel this is ideally how I would want it to be! Our room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The bed was huge and with lots of pillows giving you ample choice of support. Staff were friendly and attentive and looked after us from the start of our stay until leaving. Maps were on hand for local walks. The food was delicious, from the chef's freshly made beer and honey bread to the succulent cuts of meat for dinner to the filling breakfast in the morning. The chef was also friendly and on hand, happy to discuss her menus. All in all, the best stay in an ideal location that we have had for some time. Definitely worth a visit and we will hopefully get back there again soon!

What a lovely gem. We booked here for a post Christmas get away. Our recent bookings have all been hit and miss and this was booked last minute. Though I have to say it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Helping with meal and drinks choices. Our room Unlock Pike ( 6) was beyond expectations. Very spacious and well suited to our needs. It's a shame we only had one night. The food was absolutely divine for our evening meal. We decided to eat in the restaurant due to bad forecast. Then breakfast was just as lovely. Were aware it's closing for a refit but will definitely be back. Only draw back was the tight turn out of the drive, thankfully it wasn't as bad weather as forecast or we would have been stuck.

A couple of nights away before Christmas. Booked the luxury suite, very impressive. Clean, comfortable. Breakfasts and evening meals were cooked to perfection, staff friendly and attentive. Wonderful service from Brett, the guy is a credit to the hotel, enjoy your time back in Capetown with the Klipdrift.

Lovely Hotel.Room was very clean and spacious so was the bathroom.Views were amazing.Breakfast was good and there’s enough choice.Food was lovely in the restaurant at night there was a bit of a wait though that was the only downside.Staff were really nice and friendly and met you with a warm welcome and always asked how things were in passing.I’ve stayed in a few different hotels in the area and would definitely say this is one of the best ones. You won’t be disappointed.

Everything was outstanding but the food was something very special. A very warm welcome on arrival, dinner over the road at the Manor was as always sensational. Staff and management went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely stay. We will be back.
