We stayed here in room 421 on 8/22/22. It was our third stay in three years. We found the staff helpful and pleasant, the room was good sized, quiet and comfortable. It faces the front of the hotel. The bathroom is large with lots of counter space. There is a fridge with a freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and TV . The A/C worked well and was pretty quiet. The internet was fine for checking email and surfing the web. Breakfast was typical of a Hampton and ran from 5 am to 10 am. We liked that it was available so early. Upon arrival (around 6 pm), we found free coffee, tea, and cookies available which was nice. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is a short distance (under 6 min.) from I-15. There are several restaurants within a short drive (10 min. or less) from the hotel. We will stay here the next time we are in Barstow.

The location of the hotel is very good, under the high speed, press Google Navigation to open directly to the lobby door. The breakfast was quite rich, at least there was meat (this is no match for domestic or Japanese, Europe). It was very interesting to make waffles for the first time. Later, I found that many American hotels have their own waffles. The air conditioning sound of the room was a bit loud. After studying it for a while, I still couldn't turn it off. I was tired and fell asleep. The next day I got up late, just to catch the opposite outlet to open the door, first go shopping, understand the downside. There is a gas station on the side of the hotel, which is very convenient.

This has been our second time staying at this hotel. The last time we stayed was while we were driving Route 66. For anyone driving Route 66, it's perfect. It's right on the Route. It's very comfortable and well priced. It's within walking distance of some very good restaurants. We needed the accessible room, Room 101, and it was perfect for my needs. The Manager/Owner and his wife are really lovely people and very helpful. We will be back.
