Avoid - Especially if you are driving
Unbelievable stay....
Guest house states free parking, but don't say that if you park in front of the property you get a ticket, despite there being no actual yellow lines.
I parked outside when I got there and unloaded my luggage. When I went in the property you were not greeted by anyone, just your keys left on a table in the hall. This was despite people being there, as I could hear them.
I went out for the night, when I got back I had a parking ticket.
I saw the manager (at last !) and he said I shouldn't have parked there as it is residents only, and there was a sign up the road saying this - something I didn't see, as I was trying to find the property when I first arrived.
Maybe, if they had the courtesy to greet you upon arrival they could inform you of this, or even if they don't want to do this, they could leave a notice in the hallway.
The ironic thing is that I only had to park fifteen yards further up the road and I would have been out of the restricted area.
On a more general note this place is very poor value for money. The frontage has to be seen to be believed.
I travel on a weekly basis and have never experienced such poor customer service.
