Travelodge Barnsley

I came to Barnsley travelodge to locate my reservation number for my stay at Travelodge tomorrow. Beverly at reception was very friendly and helpful. She contacted London city Travelodge and managed to confirm my booking and retrieve the reservation number for me.

Excellent stay well situated. Easy access to the Trans Pennines Trail for the dogs and running. We will stay again.

Normally stay at Premier Inn for concerts but cost was excessive. First stay here. Easy access on the bus from the station and back. Friendly welcome. Clean and comfy room.

This hotel is the worst my I and my staff have stayed at. The rooms & bathrooms were filthy. We were advised you would on change our bedding every six days. There were moths (dead) and plenty of them in the light fittings. The bath was mouldy and grimey. One of my staff has beem bitten several times around the legs from the clearly infested room. Windows and frsmes etc were filthy. Only one socket per room. Lights and lamps flickering. Rock hard pillows and awful wifi for only 30 minutes. Im deeply annoyed and would like a full refund

Although this hotel is perfectly located at the heart of South Yorkshire, handy for the towns and beautiful & historic countryside, it excels for its friendly and helpful staff. Poppy was particularly affable, helpful and chatty, which is very welcoming in comparison to so many hotels where the personnel don’t seem to have time for customers. Manager Beverly very much reinforced this characteristic of the Travelodge staff, both professional and welcoming.

When I arrived and moved the duvet back I was disgusted to find some sort of bed bugs. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I had to sleep on the duvet and towel so I didn’t get bit again. My biggest concern is Scabies.
