Barcelona Hotels with Pools

The hotel is very conveniently located in the Centre of every places you need to go. We can walk to all the major tourist spots in Barcelona. The room is clean and spacious enough for the two of us. There are lots of outdoor restaurants right outside of the hotel so it’s feels very vibrant even when you go back to hotel late, so I think it’s a safe location for ladies travelers.

Located between Casa Mila and Casa Batlló. Chanel is downstairs and Tiffany is across the street. A five-star hotel built in 1918. I am very satisfied and will come again next time.

The room is very big and the location is very good. It is in the center of the entire Avenue des Grazies and very close to Casa Mila and Casa Batlló. If you want to shop or enjoy delicious food, you can't go wrong staying here. The bathroom in the room is also very large, with separate toilet and shower, and two wash basins, so it won't be crowded even if you bring a big suitcase. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and took the initiative to call a taxi for us when we left! The price is affordable, I will stay here again next time!

The hotel was good in general, the staff at the front desk was friendly, although nothing remarkable. I did not spend much time in the hotel facilities since I was mostly enjoying the city and traveling around, the last night when I came back to my room after a trip to a neighbour city, I found that my room was not cleaned, which was a little upsetting since I was tired and wanted just to take a shower and sleep. I called the front desk to ask the reason why and the person at the phone told me he didn't know anything since he was part of the night shift. My suggestion is to double check with the Housekeeping staff and be careful next time, cleaning a room can make a big difference when it comes to a hotel experience for travelers. Thanks

Firstly, it's too pricey and doesn't really offer good value. It feels very hot even after adjusting the temperature to the lowest setting (19 degrees Celsius being the lowest possible). The room is a bit old, and water flows out from the shower room while showering. The bathroom area is extremely dark. This package cost me around $6K HKD, and I can confidently say it doesn't compare well to other new 5-star hotels in Barcelona. The best thing about W is the bar/restaurant on the 26th floor. The staff is generally rude and impolite, possibly including some of the security staff. The reception staff assisting with check-in are also unfriendly, possibly due to a large number of guests waiting.

Easy to get to by bus from the airport. 5 minutes walk to subway station. It is convenient to go anywhere. There is a convenience store and a supermarket in front of you. The front desk is also open 24 hours a day, and they were kind enough to help me at any time.

The location is excellent. But the room is too basic and not worthy of 4 stars. There is only one electric plug in the whole room, and the computer cannot be plugged in while charging the mobile phone. In addition, it is right above the subway. You can hear the sound of the subway coming and going at night, and you can also feel the vibrations. There was no quilt, just two layers of sheets. Fortunately, I found a blanket in the cupboard and added it to keep me from getting cold. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The service is okay, but not particularly good.

I chose Astoria for New Year's Eve in Barcelona. The room layout is comfortable and it's quiet at night, which makes people feel very at ease. The location is great! It is very convenient to travel by bus or subway. There are many restaurants, cafes and shopping areas nearby. You can walk to La Pedrera, Casa Batlló and other places. Life is convenient and safe. The hotel also gave us 12 candies and grapes, from which we learned about Spain’s New Year’s Eve culture. The small details were surprising!

The breakfast is diverse, rich and delicious. The room provides snacks, coffee machine and teapot. The room is not big, and it is noisy outside. There are people making noise nearby at night. Because there is another check-in the next day, the hotel will re-charge the breakfast fee for the previous check-in. Two people checked in, and even counted as five people. There was no actual inspection of the payment details. There were obvious mistakes in homework. Although there were improvements, this kind of error is a bit outrageous for a five-star hotel.

The hotel is very fancy, it is a bit pricy but definitely worth it. The one thing I have to complain is that their bath tub, I tried to use the bath tub but the hot water is very slow, and it took long time to reach my ankle, which is not enough to take a bath. I took a shower instead after wait an hour. Also the stopper for the bath tub is broken. The lobby is nice and you will receive 30 minutes of free spa and gym, but you have to make reservation with reception. The employees are very nice and friendly to assist you without your asking.
