Looking at how much you spend to stay and where the structure is located I would say very TOP, if you arrive from the airport I take the shuttle, the closest stop is Plaça de Catalunya and it is 3 minutes walk, very convenient; 5 minutes to reach the central street "La Rambla" and the rest of the heart of Barcą! Very convenient for travel given its centrality you have various means of transport available, a street with movement during the day and night life within easy reach, 400 meters away we find the City Hall (Club), various American Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes and more adjacent to the structure, very quiet even for the return in the evening or at night! Inside very comfortable you have your own bed and your locker, obviously the rest is shared. The room where I stayed had 8 beds, its own compartment to store objects, electrical outlets near the bed and fan, very clean and well-kept 7/10. The common areas have pros and cons! Organized to connect with everyone, in fact the room has a table with several chairs for eating, several armchairs, 2 sofas, a desk with 2 PCs made available by the structure; several sockets to charge your cell phone or other devices while if you like you exchange a chat with your roommates, as I did! Small but well-designed bathrooms, a little old and worn but it's okay, 3 showers available, several sinks with mirrors and 3 toilets, all doors with keys, also a washing machine and a drying rack available. The kitchen is also well-stocked with everything you need and a fridge with Free things made available by them. Unfortunately several people stay daily in this structure but I want to make a complaint, more cleaning and attention especially on the bathroom sometimes left abandoned for a day and not sanitized but unfortunately you know you can't keep track of everything, there were many of us and we are not all the same as guests💆🏻‍♂️; but sometimes being comfortable in a place is conciliatory if you meet staff like this one from Alternative Creative Youth Hostel Barcelona "who are very helpful, friendly, dynamic and willing to answer any of your questions, sometimes even taking a short break from their job to get to know you! A warm hug to the 2 girls in the morning and the guys from the afternoon and night shifts, of whom unfortunately I don't remember the names of any of them, but thank you for the time you dedicated to me!!!! Ps: I would have expected more about breakfast but I'm happy to have been your customer anyway. Unlike other Hostels, they also have a linen service available, so you can avoid bringing it, it's served by them.
