We booked 2 rooms and the service is great. The room is clean and the choices of the breakfast is plentiful. Bea from the restaurant is so kind she help us with our needs. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived very early in the morning & the staff was so welcoming. They had our rooms ready for us at 11:00 even though check in isn't until 3 pm. We had drinks & lunch out in the courtyard and our server, Beatriz was amazing. So friendly & helpful with recommendations for the next couple days. On Beatriz days off Camello came on and again great service. We hope to come back again soon!

We spent 2 nights here while visiting Barcelona. The original plan was 3 nights but because of flight delays we arrived one day later than planned. The management was so kind and understanding and refunded one night. The location was perfect. It was within walking distance of many sites and restaurants. It was also very close to a metro station. The next neighborhood was safe and clean. Breakfast was amazing and they catered to Americans who eat more at breakfast. Try the fresh squeezed orange juice machine! The room was a good size and well equipped. There was a minibar with plenty of room in the refrigerator for your own food. Housekeeping was excellent. The front desk was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Portal de l'Angel for a few nights before and during an organized Spain tour. This hotel is excellent in its location near Placa de Catalunya, La Ramlas and other major attractions in Barcelona. The staff was helpful in every way possible, answering any and all questions. We were totally surprised how quiet our room was since the hotel is on a major tourist street. The breakfast was also excellent to fuel us up for the morning.

Beautiful hotel, with comfortable beds, free toiletries in the room, free water and tea. Very tasty breakfast, including baked eggs, smoked salmon and champagne. Fast check in. Located on the shopping street in center, near by the cathedral of Barcelona
