Our family stayed at murimuri residence concepcio from jul 7 to jul 10 2024. Checking in was 3pm but if you were to arrive early you can store your luggage at murimuri residence mercader which is almost 2 blocks away for free. To check in, you need to do it yourself. You are given a code for the main door and then enter to see a machine thats like in the airport where you scan your passport to check in then it will give you your room key card. If it fails to do so like ours, call their number and someone will come and give you the keycard for your room. They have an elevator so if you have large luggages it helps. Upon entering the space there is an atrium with a common washroom/bathroom then the living room dining room which is a huge space that leads to an outdoor deck with a table and chairs. The living room has a sofa 2 lounge chairs a coffee table the dining area has a round dining table for 4 people the whole space is well lit with large glass doors and windows. The kitchen is a complete kitchen has a small washer dyer, fridge, oven, stove top, microwave, dishwasher- ours did not work at the time. I reported it but they did not have the staff to check on it till we checked out. The guest bedroom was as big as the masters bedroom except that the masters bedroom had an ensuite - which was great. Both rooms had large cabinets for your clothes and a safe. He location was great it was a block across Casa Mila famous tourist spot. It was beside rambla de cataluna which was a boulevard with lots of places to eat. And a great place to stroll the whole day. Lots of people and it felt safer than the place we stayed in by montjuic. The value of the accommodation was worth it we booked early so it was cheaper then. When we arrived the place was about 600 to 800 cad already when we booked it it was a little over 400cad a night. You can see the screen shot photos of the video that i took when we came in the first day below. We stayed at the 2nd floor ( Grec) was the name. No room numbers each room had its own name. They also have a videophone for the doorbell. I gave a 2 star for service because you do everything on your own. If you want someone to come clean you would pay for maid service. You can always talk to someone but they'll just give you instructions. Its more like an air bnb or vrbo kinda place where you have the place to yourselfand look after it. But other than that the place and location was very ideal. Everything or place that we needed to go to was always less than 20 mins away. We always took a cab because it was the same or cheaper than 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids taking the bus or metro) and we were dropped off where we wanted to and picked up where we wanted to.

Ended up here after a sudden flight cancelation and the place we were at was all booked. I picked it due to the price point, proximity to where we were already staying, and my preference for apart-hotels. The check in location is about a 4 min walk from where you are actually staying. It is located between 2 Michelin star restaurants, and with the start of blocks of tapas restaurants just around the corner, it is ridiculously noisy at night, even with the windows closed. We stayed in the Romea, which, by the sign on the door, is actually the lobby + the original Romea room. The room is starting to show its age and could benefit from some updating. It's large and spacious with a balcony off the living room and bedroom. However, it is the only room in the building that has a washer, but no dryer. (tip - you have to close the little drum door before starting the wash) The kitchen is small, but functional. The fridge is nice and big. No complaints on the beds. The set up is odd in that the only shower is in the en suite. There are 2 Tvs - one in the living room and one in the master. Shower pressure could be better, but I was also doing laundry at the time, so I can't accurately comment on it. This place was also booked up for the next night. Toiletries included: bulk body wash/ shampoo combo and conditioner. Liquid hand soap available. Two pairs of slippers provided. You are provided with ample toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, and some cleaning supplies. I didn't inspect the supplies, but looked to be at least a couple of dishwasher tabs, not sure about laundry detergent. Wifi signal spotty at times. I switched to using my own network frequently. I believe you can store your luggage at the check in location, but not 100% sure. Customer service pretty good. I had to call later at night with my washing machine issue and received prompt assistance. Excellent location - aside from the two restaurants outside, you're a couple min away from the hop on/hop off stop and subway station, few min walk from La Pedrera, 10 min from the heart of Las Ramblas, 10 min away from a couple of mercats, and tons of shopping and dining nearby. If this place renovates, I'll add it to list of places to stay, but with its age, I'd prefer other nearby accommodations.
