The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The kitchen has everything you need and ,contrary to what you see on some reviews, it was always clean! The room was big enough but the mattress was a bit unconfortable. Also, the painting from the walls were peeling off and that gave us a bad impression at the begining. The location is perfect since you can move to everywhere by bus, metro or even walking a couple of minutes and you have a lot of supermarkets and restaurants close to it.

Ambiente familiar,el personal muy atento y amable,precio muy economico,lo recomiendo,muy buen servicio. La ubicacion perfecta,esta en pleno centro de Barcelona. Cerca de estaciones de metro,taxi,autobuses. Muy buena limpieza de parte del personal. Tienen sala de juegos para pasar el rato.

The staff has been helpful but I wouldn't return in this hostel. The general level of cleaning and maintenance is very low: the kitchen and its utensils are so dirty and broken that they cannot be used; the bathrooms are gross and even the bed sheets were stained... Furthermore I had a room with a window that gave onto a very dirty and dusty patio from which a terrible smell of fried fish came inside at all times. It was impossible to keep the window open.
