Good, good, good

I was really going crazy. The lobby was the only decent place in the hotel. As soon as I entered the corridor, I smelled a pungent smell, which was not sure whether it was disinfectant or mold. It was the kind of smell you would smell in a second-hand furniture store, but it was ten times more amplified than in a normal second-hand furniture store. The room was also full of that strange smell, which was particularly pungent. I smelled it for a few hours and my face turned red, as if I had drunk alcohol. I didn't know if it was because I was allergic or because I inhaled formaldehyde. The area nearby was indeed an office area as some reviews said, but there was no one there. I didn't dare to go out and change hotels in the middle of the night, so I had to make do with it for one night. I booked this hotel because it was #1 best value on tripadvisor. My god, they must have paid a lot of money to tripadvisor. There was a hotel across the street that looked very good and it was a 4-star hotel. I saw ibis and holiday inn on the way here. Any of them is 10,000 times better than this motel-like place. I don't know why it is ranked first on tripadvisor. Even Chinese people on Ctrip said it has a good location... Thank you. It is a million miles away from all the major attractions. The only good thing is that it is next to the cemetery, so I visited the niche statue of el peto de la mort (the kiss of death) that doesn't even have two sentences on wiki, because it is obviously the only feature of this area. As for the beach, the whole of Barcelona is close to the sea. It is a coastal city. Everything is close to the beach. Don't be ridiculous. The worst part is the smell! It lasts so long! I changed hotels and my cashmere scarf still smelled the same the next night! And my jacket, my pajamas, even my underwear in my bag, my entire backpack, my carry-on bag, and any clothes I didn’t wear that smelled the same all day… It was really crazy, which is why I sat on the bed in the second hotel in the middle of the night and wrote this review… Because I! Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people! I'd rather not pay this advance and change to another hotel! Otherwise, you won't even have a clean piece of clothing left! It's that scary! I don't know whether it's dirtier to sleep naked in a new hotel or to sleep in pajamas that smell like this hotel... How did I fall asleep last night? Maybe I fainted from the fumes... I posted the photos of me supporting my old mother who sprained her ankle and rushing to the hotel, and the photos of us escaping and seeing the dawn the next day, as well as the photos of the kiss of death... I'm feeling desperate like the young man who was kissed by the skeleton, and he has bad breath. By the way, this "attraction" requires walking around in the cemetery for about an hour just to see such a statue...Don't be curious because of my comments, just look at the photos on wiki. The cemetery itself may not be as spectacular as the mausoleum in Suzhou, it's better to go back and see some local ones. I breathed in the poisonous gas in this hotel all night, and the cemetery felt a bit familiar, so I walked in with a daze. If I had known that the cemetery was so close, why did I stay in this hotel last night? Hygiene: The bed sheets and quilts felt unclean. It was a French-style bed with the sheets pressed under the mattress. There were small black flies in the sink, but at least there were no other species of bugs. Facilities: There are facilities for the disabled, as well as an emergency call cord. In the bathroom, there is even a folding chair for the disabled to take a bath without waterproofing. It would be great if my family had an elderly person in a wheelchair, but fortunately, I don't. But how do elderly people in wheelchairs sleep on a 0.9m single bed? I'll ask. No electric kettle is provided. The cheapest mineral water in the water dispenser downstairs is 1.7 euros per bottle. I tried it for everyone. Service: The girl at the front desk is very enthusiastic and speaks ok English. But the hotel is terrible! And if you recall carefully, the decoration of the lobby is also like a megabus transfer station, which is the cheap night long-distance bus for Americans... I actually thought it was okay at the time, it must be because it was the only part of the hotel that didn't smell. I wanted to sleep in the lobby...
