Onefam Paralelo

Thank you Lucy, Jack, and Emma for taking good care of me. This was one of the best hostels I’ve ever experienced. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and invited to play beach volleyball. At night we played drinking games and had a welcome party. Then we enjoyed a pub crawl where we enjoyed VIP entrance to a couple of clubs. I would definitely stay here again. I met so many people. I had the best time. The bathrooms were sooo clean. They even cooked dinner for us for free!!! The only negative is that rooms and bathrooms were a bit small.

If you want to party and socialise this is a great hostel.

Fun hostel. Solid location. It’s around a 5 minute walk from the nearest Metro and bus stations, but also totally possible to walk to some of the city’s attractions from there (we walked all the way to the Ramblas from the hostel). Atmosphere is very, very social. They host activities every day, from walking tours of various attractions to drinking games every night. The “bar crawl” they take you on in comparison to other hostel ones was okay. After ice breaker drinking games they take you to one bar that many other hostels go to and then you get easy access to popular clubs in town which I appreciate. Staff was very friendly and so were the guests. Very clean and I felt very safe. We only went out once and on other nights once people leave for the bars they enforce quiet hours so I didn’t have trouble going to bed. Hostel guests skew young, many I met in their 20s. I never had to wait for a shower or the bathroom which is a good sign. You do have to go outside of the room though (I stayed in a 6 person mixed dorm). The shower is a little cramped and on my last day there was no hot water which was inconvenient. All in all I enjoyed my stay here. Also FYI I heard many horror stories about St. Christopher’s from people that stayed there, so save yourself some time and consider this instead.

Great staff all around, great experience. Will be back asap. Everyday an activity is planned that is free which you can join along. This is a great way to meet people for the bar crawl and clubbing that they offer in the evening which also includes free entry. Free dinner every night which always hits the spot

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Very friendly atmosphere, very clean, a lot of activities to do and great location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and really try to make your experience the best it possibly can. Definitely recommend this place if you like to meet people and have a good time.
