We had a lovely stay at Hotel Rec. It's in a great area in El Born, full of nice restaurants and bars. It's also just a short walk from the Gothic Quarter which is lovely to walk around. We also enjoyed coming back to the hotel after a day of exploring to sit on the roof by the rooftop pool with a beer. The pool is small, but perfect for cooling down in, or sitting on the edge with a drink.
The room was modern and kept very clean, and the bed was very comfy. We slept like logs!

It was close to sightseeing spots such as Sagrada Familia and convenient for transportation. The breakfast was also delicious. When I stay in Barcelona, I would like to use it again.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Swimming pool is small, but still a nice environment to relax in. Rooms are decent, but the beds are singles joined together. Happy overall.
