Hotels near Arc de Triomf, Barcelona

It was close to sightseeing spots such as Sagrada Familia and convenient for transportation. The breakfast was also delicious. When I stay in Barcelona, ​​I would like to use it again.

Although the hotel is on the older side, the rooms are much larger than standard size. It is located near the Chinatown area so there are plenty of good Chinese restaurants. Across the hotel is a local bar for simple tapas and drinks, convenient stores and cafes. It is 15mins walk to El Born, Passeig de Gràcia and Las Ramblas.

I was able to stay at a reasonable price, even though it was in the center, probably because I booked on a weekday. The staff is very friendly! The smile of the woman at the reception was impressive, and although I originally booked a dormitory with about 10 people, they kindly showed me to a room with fewer people available! Also, one of the joys of traveling with a backpacker is interacting with other guests at the hostel, and here, as an evening activity, you can make and eat dinner with other guests (the staff manages and gives instructions properly, and it's free), and after that, if you want, they will take you to a local club or bar for 20€. (You can go there all the time you stay if you pay once) So it was great to have a lot of interaction with other guests! I've stayed at various hostels, but it's rare to find one that does this much. I've stayed at other hostels in Barcelona, ​​but some of them didn't have an atmosphere of interaction at all. The guests were really interesting and from many different countries, so I highly recommend it for people who want to interact with others! On the one hand, there were few sinks to brush your teeth, which was a bit inconvenient, and the lockers had old, simple locks, so the security aspect was questionable. It's better than nothing, so I always carried my valuables with me, but there was a lock on the door to the room just in case. Luckily, all my roommates were nice people, so I had a good time. There's an Asian supermarket nearby, and the old town is just around the corner. It's also a good location for people who want to visit Barcelona for the first time and want to do some sightseeing.

Hostel located next to the Arc de Triomphe. It was fine, but could be improved in several aspects. The infrastructure and common areas are super large, however, they are not used to their full potential, there are no relaxation areas promoted by the Hostel, among others. The beds had only a thin quilt that did not cover much, in any case there was heating. And the bathrooms did not have hand soap. The truth is, except when I arrived and went through reception, I saw a person from the hostel serving. For the price it is fine, but it can improve a lot.

Hip Karma Hostel exceeded all my expectations. As a solo traveler, I felt instantly at home in this vibrant, welcoming space. The modern facilities are top-notch - from the spotless bathrooms to the well-equipped kitchen. I loved lounging in the cozy common area and chatting with fellow travelers. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views, perfect for sunset drinks. The staff went above and beyond, offering great local tips. This hostel truly embodies the spirit of Spain - lively, warm, and unforgettable!

To conclude, I expected it to be a 4-star hotel, but it did not live up to my expectations. Therefore, I will not visit again unless it is on special offer..ㅠ Good points: The front desk staff is very friendly and on standby 24 hours, the overall atmosphere is clean and warm, there is a spacious closet, a bathtub, and amenities (toothpaste, toothbrush). 2 bottles of water are provided. It was spacious enough, so I opened one of my suitcases in the suitcase rack and one next to the bed. Things to improve: There were some stains on the bed sheets. My feet were stuffy, so I took off the blanket, but the cotton and sheet inside were not properly fixed, so the sheets and cotton separated, which was uncomfortable. I could feel the springs on the bed (I personally can't sleep well when I feel the springsㅠ)

The hotel is ideally located, the reception is made around the hotel. There is a place to drink tea or coffee and a lots style cookies. The room was a little tight, which I asked for away from noise, but during the day there was a sound from an industrial extractor. The bathroom is very large with bathroom, I would have liked to have to do myself a bathroom. But the hand washing peak was fatal from the use. Indeed the material is not suitable for the use it has. I'm glad you can leave your bags outside the check-out time 🙏🏽 because the day I was a holiday and everything was closed. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. When I came back in the morning I regrettably found a vomiting in the hallway to my room and in the courtyard the open door, and in the floor a lot of mandarin shells. The room is large and has a beautiful small balcony. You need to ring the doorbell to enter the hotel, and the security is good. There was nothing in the room except two toothbrushing basins. The tap water in Barcelona had a strong smell, so you had to use purified water to brush your teeth. It's only a 15-minute walk from Casa Batlló, and there are many restaurants, supermarkets, etc. in the surrounding area, which is super convenient. Breakfast is relatively expensive, so there is no need to eat it. When you go out of the hotel, go straight to the right and walk to the second intersection. There is a breakfast shop called 52 moments that opens at 6 am. There are so many choices👍

Strategic location to easily reach all the city's attractions in an elegant neighborhood with the metro and bus stations just a few minutes away. Staff at the reception were very friendly and available to give advice on getting around the city (upon arrival we were offered a glass of sparkling wine and water to drink). Clean and quiet rooms despite overlooking Gran Via, which means excellent soundproofing. Rich breakfast starting from excellent quality fresh fruit in addition to the savory part; friendly dining room staff available for any requests.

The room was dreary with only fluorescent lighting, and there was no kettle in the room, but when I went to the front desk to borrow one, they said it was already on loan. It seems like every hotel has a few unfriendly staff among the friendly ones, which ruins the impression of the hotel. The location is close to Plaza Catalunya and the Cathedral, so once you get used to it, you'll realize it's a very convenient hotel.
