I have only ever posted one negative review in the past (about 7 years ago). I usually like to spread the word when things are good. But this experience leads me to actually feel guilty if I don't tell the public about our experience. We had made reservations far in advance and when we got there I asked if we could be put on the top floor (you know how it is with loud people above you - let alone on the sides and the heavy hotel doors slamming shut), and I would happily accept any answer, after all, I knew it was kind of a shot in the dark. However the receptionist didn't answer me and just gave us the keys to 'not the top floor'. And that's fine, really - I am not one to make a big fuss. So we went to our room which was quite lovely and super clean. However, at 8 am there was pounding and scraping so loud (and I would like to mention that I do have heart condition that I take medication for) that it was very obvious that there was major construction happening right over our head. I actually heard other guests in the hall talking about how loud and disruptive this all was. It truly sounded as if someone was ripping the carpet up and possibly slamming the couch (maybe it was the bed?) down over and over. I called the front desk and the woman stated that they were indeed doing a full renovation of the room directly above us. She simply said that there was nothing they could do and without even apologizing said to me, ”have a nice day”. This hardcore construction went on full force as we left (and left extra early as we could't even think in that environment). When my husband and I got to the front desk to return the keys, we asked the woman at the desk if we could speak to the manager (again, we are very polite and understanding people that can endure quit a bit before speaking up) and the woman said the she was the ”front desk manger”. We explained the situation that she seemed to already understand as she agreed that there was full renovation right above our room and that she was sorry but that she had no control over the construction workers. We then asked why they would put guests under (or even around) that kind of noise at an actual hotel. She could don't tell us. She did not offer to make anything right, she didn't offer any true sympathy. I felt like a number, or some kind of unwelcome problem that was brought to her door. I just hope someone will avoid this hotel and save their vacation. I feel strange reviewing negatively but I feel worse if I don't say anything. The hotel itself showed us its values and I wholeheartedly disagree with the way we were treated. With that said I will say that the housekeeping was so kind and friendly and did an amazing job. The housekeeping gets 5 stars. I truly hope they get their priorities in order and don't cause such badness to good, quiet people that trusted them to shelter us appropriately, just so that they could get money for that room.

AAmber SWriting this review in the hotel room as we speak. So upon arriving we thought this place to be a good choice. We checked in around 430 or 5pm. We drove in about 8 hours from central Texas and were going to stay one night on our way to Colorado. My sister and nephew had one room and my mother and my myself another. Right away we unpacked and decided what we wanted for dinner. My sister and I went and came back. Around 7:45 I decided to finally shower and lay down. Went to shower and saw the shower was FILTHY! I mean public hair and dirt stains! It was obvious this room was never truly cleaned. Went downstairs and showed the lady at the front desk. She told me she could move us rooms which I decline due to my 71 yr old mother asleep from the long drive. She then told me she could give me a $10 credit?! That's not even covering the taxes! And why should I only get a $10 credit when I checked into this room from a long drive thinking it was ready to go. I asked for the manger she said there was none and the only manger available would not be there till Monday. She handed me a card and it was the AG , Bella Newberry, which I will also be emailing as a few others. This has been such a horrible experience when it should be a pleasant one on our vacation!
Decent choice. Hotel is a few blocks from town. Nevertheless, there is road noise in the early evening. The property is clean. The room was smallish by suite standards. Vanity space in bathroom is limited. Decent mattress. The breakfast was fine. They had granola, but not many cereal toppings. The business center was one computer in the breakfast area. Not private. The fitness center had one of everything. Price at about $115 was reasonable.
GGuest UserExtremely friendly staff, especially Judith at the front desk. The breakfast was fantastic! The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the noise in the morning. We could hear people walking above us. However, there was little noise during the night.
GGuest UserIt’s up to me to talk about it, and talk about the feelings of 4 days since Christmas Eve. When booking, I carefully browsed the title and picture of each room type. The choice was 2 rooms, and the price was 4xx yuan per day. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that I was booking the narrowest single room type. I don’t want to add money. I don't know if Ctrip, agent, or hotel has a problem. I just want to take a look at UFO attractions by simple vacation. I really don't want to toss, but I have to reflect with Ctrip. The text customer service is very good, but it is completely messed up when I call the customer service. First, I didn't read the chat record between me and the text customer service. Secondly, I repeatedly asked Ctrip to contact the agent or hotel and keep my original room type, so I can change the room on the second day (the hotel's suggestion is to live on the first day). On the second day, I said that because I was dark when I arrived at the store, I had to deal with it.) As a result, on the second day, not only the house was occupied by others, but also the telephone customer service on the Ctrip side did not coordinate with the agent at all. The agent did not contact the hotel at all. In short, to be honest, if the booking is not as good as Ctrip, I really don't want to toss any more. In short, the four-day holiday is over, it may be a Christmas holiday, or it may always be the same, except that the bath towel can be changed, there is no daily cleaning. There is a canteen on the 1st floor, you can barely buy something to cook in your room. The refrigerator is quite big, and the air conditioner is a bit noisy. There is no shuttle to the airport, only taxis, and less rentals in small places. The main road has bus, but it is often very slow, saying that it is 15/20 minutes, but in fact it usually takes 30 minutes.
CCarol BThey were very efficient. Great friendly service and the rooms smelled clean and were very clean and presentable. The breakfast was awesome. Had some great hatch NM chili as well. Most of all, the price for the two night stay was very reasonable . Prepared to swim but it was raining during our stay. Next time! Thank you.
GGuest UserOur check-in process was very good. The guy was friendly and welcoming. The room was large, with a fridge and microwave. The beds were pretty old and hard. The thing that really bothered me was there were no blackout panels on the windows. They only had curtains that you could see right through! Not very reassuring when people can walk right in front of your room. I had my husband go outside and stand at the window at night to see if he could see anything through those curtains. He said he couldn't, but it was just creepy! There were no regular channels, just a Roku smart TV which was not very user friendly, Once more people checked in there was no way the internet could support it, and it stopped every minute to load and load and load, making it absolutely impossible to watch anything! In the morning there were no breakfast bags, so my husband asked the maintenance guy that was walking around since there was nobody in the office. He just hurried by and said there weren't any. (which we had already figured out!) No apology, no explanation. When we checked out there was finally someone at the front desk and we asked her about breakfast. She said they didn't deliver them, but she wasn't sure why. We just stood there waiting, so she finally asked us if we would like some fruit, and got us a couple of apples and oranges from the fridge in the office. We apreciated that, at least it was something. There was hand sanitizer at each door entryway, which was good to see.
