Hotel Maison Maastricht Centrum Handwritten Collection brings new life to an address that was home to one of the city his most prestigious hotels during the 1800s. Our 5-star Maastricht hotel near the old town fuses timeless elegance with modern amenities. As storytellers, we evoke the golden age of hospitality through personalised touches from the moment you arrive. Savour refined flavours in our wine bar, join a pastry or chocolate masterclass in our atelier, and find well-being in our fitness studio.
"We have had a very pleasant stay in this 5-star hotel in Maastricht.
The hotel is elegant, ideally located, and the staff really do everything possible to make the clients feel good and enjoy their stay. Thanks to this attention and this warm welcome, we spent a great moment in this very beautiful city.
However, some points could further improve experience:
- It would be nice to have a telephone in the room so that you can easily reach the reception.
- The bathroom suitcases would deserve to be larger to be more in line with the standing of the hotel.
- Finally, the breakfast offered at €38 per person seemed a little limited to the price requested. It would either be enriched to match the price level shown more or be offered at a more consistent rate of €20 to €25.
Despite these constructive remarks, we keep a very good memory of our stay and sincerely thank the entire team for its kindness and professionalism."

MMaaikeThe social hub is well born. The atmosphere is relaxed with a nice mix of students and tourists and digital nomads. Rooms are large and despite central location it is quiet. Beside the door park and robbery top floor perfect place for drink & sweet and beautiful view!
ZZHENHUANThe location is good, I live here every time I take guests, the breakfast is very special, the customers are satisfied with the freshly made biscuits, the room is relatively simple, and meets the needs of staying 😀😀😬😬
MMohamed Sameh SolimanHotel environment was good
BUT :
1. Check in and check out timing. Four o'clock is very late for a check in. Global standard allows checking In as from 13.00 hours! Eleven o'clock is very early for checking out. Again global standard sets check out at 12.00 with possible extension to 14.00 hours.
2. The room was supposed to be ” comfort plus”. I experienced no special comfort or extra comfort for that matter. Room was standard in terms of size and equipment.
3. Reception staff allowed the ”concession” of checking out at 12.00 and went to considerable length stressing that it is a gross exception!
Not the right attitude for a service organization.
ДДИTIЭЯI recently stayed at a hotel and wanted to share my thoughts. It was a pretty decent place for the price. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, especially if you're visiting Maastricht University. While it may not have fancy extras, it's a solid choice if you want a budget-friendly stay without sacrificing comfort.
RR YUENI choose this hotel because it is just 5 min walk from train station. And also very close to shopping and dining area. Check in is all automatic and is very easy. Room is big and clean the location makes it one of the best hotel for traveller
SShan0926Macheng is very comfortable! It is very different from Amsterdam!

GGuest UserA beautiful, atmosphereful hotel, where you look in the film spheres of the past. The 20s art-deco style is beautiful, atmosphereful and specially performed. If you are a movie fan (as I); a fine place to be. Where a cutting-up to the history of this property, an old cinema, really gives a nice touch and twist.
I enjoyed a 3-daagse (2 nights) in the MABI hotel. The luxurious Canes spheres dining room, the luxurious mini-bioscope (with popcorn and chewing gum), the beautiful reception, the atmosphereful bar Twisted and the hotel room with black-white theme all have a unique and unique head or side role in this cinema setting. When you look at all kinds of fun (film-related) details in this hotel.
The location is also fine, located on a quiet side street of the Maastricht market, everything is within the scope of the hands, and a lot of experience is to be seen and experienced at walking distance.
Small note: I have not experienced a surprising wow factor in terms of hospitality during my stay. Staff often speak English. In terms of hospitality and personal attention, this hotel has not exceeded my expectation. But it was good and nice. So, in terms of location, atmosphere and interior. In any case, a adviser like you just want something different and certainly like you are a fan of films and the rich history of this beautiful property (pleasant to look for the history of this former first cinema of the Netherlands/Maastricht).
Nice small details: the viewmaster in the room briefly tells the story of the hotel with a knife. ;)
I will certainly return to the MABI hotel in Maastricht!
FFULANThere is a paid parking lot and breakfast is average. But the price is still decent. The location is not far from the center. Close to the river.
