Service - many temporary staff who try hard
Breakfast - the queue starts at 06:45am for 07:00am breakfast; small restaurant and gets very noisy due to the amount of international visitors and their children who are allowed to run and scream; some guests are wasteful with the food
Rooms - very modern and comfortable; private onsen heats up automatically and refills automatically; water temp of the shower is unstable
Parking - only valet available at JPY 5k a night

LLjd888This is one of the best you can get in Niseko, Hirafu area.
It has a ski in ski out gondola very near to it, and another Ace Gondola which is about 2-3mins walk from the main entrance of Sansui.
Besides location, the service provided is exceptional. The staffs were great, driver service provided on a first come first serve basis, there is Onsen facilities and the buffet breakfast was amazing too.
There's also a good omakase restaurant in it.
Room was definitely very well sized and properly furnished with amazing views during winter and not to mention the cleanliness is amazing.
Overall, 5 star experience stay there. Definitely going back again

GGuest UserThis 5-star hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the ski slopes. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed. There are both public and private onsen, which can be booked for free. The breakfast is good and high-quality. If you visit during the low season, you can get a discount of up to half the usual price. There's a parking fee of 2000 yen per day.

NN YipThis is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included.
It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel.
The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options.
There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise.
Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us.
We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better.
Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese.
The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel.
The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves.
Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway.
The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.

GGuest UserWonderful ski in/ski out location. Lovely family accommodation with everything you need. Close to convenience store and restaurants. Sunday was extremely helpful and transported us to the local train station at the end of our stay. Gustav was very helpful via email but the resort was uncontactable on arrival to arrange hotel transfer from the bus drop-off (reception phone switched to after hours message). Also could not get a taxi (none available on the app) so had to walk up the hill dragging luggage. That was our only complaint.

YYangyang88988I really want to speak up for the Ritz! Don't blindly trust negative reviews online; experiencing it yourself is the most authentic way to judge. The environment is absolutely stunning, every corner is picture-perfect! The toiletries are also thoughtful and excellent. All the staff, especially the Chinese-speaking young lady at the front desk, were incredibly warm, humble, and polite! As part of the EDITION series and being in Hokkaido, the hotel is incredibly meticulous. Not only does it have many fantastic restaurants, but there's also a beautiful little town next door with cheap and delicious food! You'll find everything you need for dining, shopping, and sightseeing. Thank you, Ritz, for making our vacation so warm and comfortable!

Just happened it is snowing and the view is like a paradise.
Rooms are on upstairs 1 floor, do request assistance from the helpful staff to assist you.
All the staff is friendly, handsome and beautiful.
Try to offer some Japanese food as that's what we expected, for breakfast and dinner.
The cafe is beautiful, needs more marketing exposure.

GGuest UserWe've stayed at villa 1 (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms - 1 bedroom is a small tatami bedroom + small bathroom). The lounge has an amazing view. Hospitality and the aesthetic is great, however the bathroom doors are glass doors and I can imagine it would be inconvenient for travellers in friends groups. Ground floor bathrooms have sewage smell as well, we suspect the villa hasn't been used often so the water has been left at U pipe. Aside from these small problems, we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is a set, and it's a big portion.

Mmiumiu_kongThe cleanliness was just okay, not exceptionally good, because I stayed for 5 days and the room wasn't cleaned once. The facilities weren't great, but it offered pretty good value for money.
The location is quite remote, and it's inconvenient without a car.

AAsiaFamTravelsNot directly ski in ski out - still need to walk 100m to get a gondola to the chairlifts. Service better than last year - a new casual restaurant that does pizza dine in/to go. Changes to the Japanese breakfast so it’s no longer a set but a buffet which offers better flexibility for kids. Check in took about 30 mins standing in line but the room was thankfully ready by 12 noon before the stated 3pm check in time.
