The location is fantastic for skiers, as it's right in front of the ski lift. Since I visited in the summer, being on a hill made it a bit difficult to walk around and explore the surroundings (you have to walk up a long hill to get back to the hotel). It's pretty much at the very top of the Niseko Resort complex. As it was the off-season, there wasn't much to do nearby, but the hotel facilities and services were great for a relaxing and healing stay. The Yotei-san view room was an added bonus. The public onsen wasn't huge, but it had everything I needed, was clean, and wasn't crowded, so I went every day. The best part was the breakfast! All the ingredients were fresh, and the fruits changed daily and were all delicious. While there wasn't a huge variety, each dish felt carefully prepared. Parking was a bit expensive as it included valet service, but it was convenient. All the staff members were incredibly friendly. I saw two Korean staff members, and there was also a Japanese staff member who spoke Korean. Overall, it seems like the perfect accommodation for a ski trip.

This hotel offers a genuine private onsen in every room, with a continuous flow of hot spring water 24/7. The in-room amenities are exceptional; the air conditioning is powerful, the bedding is comfortable, and the Refa showerhead and hairdryer are fantastic. They even provide a Hario pour-over coffee set for guests to enjoy. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese or Western set menus in advance, and the portions are so generous you'll barely finish. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast menu doesn't vary much day-to-day. The only real downside to this hotel is its lack of public transport access, so you'll need to take a taxi. While visiting the lake, I passed by several other well-known large hotels. They might have better locations, but they looked quite old and had many more rooms, making them less private than this one. To each their own, but if I return to Toya, I would definitely consider staying here again.

This hotel is truly a sanctuary from the world. On the day we checked in, perhaps due to the season, we only encountered three other groups of guests in the entire hotel, which gave us a sense of having the place to ourselves – absolute privacy! The outdoor hot spring is a must-visit. As someone who enjoys fitness, I was very impressed with the well-equipped gym, which even had Pilates machines. After a good workout, you can head straight to the outdoor hot spring next door to relax. The dining was also excellent; for breakfast, you could choose between Japanese or Western style, both featuring unique local ingredients, which was really interesting. The service was also superb. During a chat with one of the staff members, I learned that Jenny was also from Hong Kong, and it was such a pleasant surprise to meet someone from home. Jenny's service was wonderful and efficient, ensuring we had a fantastic stay. I'm a bit torn about whether to recommend this hotel because I don't want it to become a crowded place, haha. I only recommend this hotel for those with a car, as there's nothing else around, not even a convenience store. It's perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

This is by far one of the best hotels we've stayed at in our whole trip to Hokkaido. The location was unbeatable as it was right behind the Hirafu Welcome Center. It's also walkable to the quite a number of restaurants. Service was impeccable. They thought of everything, including providing guests with a shuttle to and from the KIng Gondola and many other key points within the town, and we could see its status and movement around town in real time. Our room was a two-bedroom unit, and it was really spacious with any and all kinds of amenities, including a washing machine, dish dryer, stove, microwave, etc... In particular, our unit was accessible to the ski slopes via a back door, and the view there was amazing. Just a few steps from the back door, we could already see the view of Mt. Yotei. The hotel also has a complimentary onsen (public and private options), which was a welcome treat after a day at the slopes. Breakfast had a lot of variety, so you can surely find something to your liking. All in all, we had a really great stay at Skye Niseko, and we willl definitely come back here the next time we're in Niseko.

It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to get here from Sapporo by car (maybe a bit faster if you take the expressway). There's a dedicated parking lot, but it doesn't have many spaces. The room was very clean and had a separate vanity. There's only a shower in the room, but there's a large public bath on the first floor and a private bath you can use once during your stay. The breakfast had a great variety of dishes and was very satisfying. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Niseko!

The hotel boasts a prime location on a mountain overlooking Lake Toya, with rooms on the other side offering Pacific Ocean views. We booked a lake view room and an ocean view room for two adults and two children, and both offered stunning scenery. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards. The only drawback is that getting down the mountain can be inconvenient if you don't have your own car or a private charter. Luckily, the hotel has several good restaurants, making it a decent choice for a relaxing two-day getaway. The breakfast spread was ample and of good quality, with both Japanese and Western options available. Additionally, the hotel has its own florist, and the floral arrangements in the lobby are beautiful.

From the moment we pulled up to The Green Leaf, we felt incredibly welcome. The level of service here is personal and sincere; I was so impressed that the staff took the time to remember my name. It creates such a 'homey' and inviting atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. If you want a stay where you feel like a valued guest rather than just a room number, this is the place to be!

Location is a little bit away from the ski lifts but they do have a shuttle bus although I wish there were more bus timings. Staff were friendly and helpful although not all speak English. Buffet breakfast was nice. We tried the dinner on two nights and they were quite similar. Dinner was a bit on the expensive side so would not recommend eating there mutiple nights in a row due to the lack of variety. There is a small course section to the dinner and then a buffet but I’d prefer more of a kaiseki style course with quality over quantity. Absolutely loved the live music every night from 7:39-8:30pm. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a bus that stops outside the hotel for travellers taking the coach from the airport/sapporo. The local bus to the train station also stops outside. Onsen was a bit too hot for my liking but it was a nice size.

The room was perfectly satisfactory in terms of cleanliness, facilities, and size. The view was also breathtaking, I absolutely loved it. My only minor complaint would be about the short-haired female staff member at the front desk who provided Chinese-language service. Her attitude was very robotic, especially during our New Year check-in. She responded to guests mechanically, completely devoid of any warmth. Speaking the same language, it was quite off-putting to encounter such a cold demeanor. Thankfully, the hotel's other staff members, who spoke different languages, managed to salvage what could have been a poor start. The chef even came out personally to thank guests after the dinner service, and the buffet chef patiently helped us reserve a table for the incredibly popular buffet when we met him. These experiences truly reflect the quality and professionalism of the hotel's management. Additionally, the cleaning staff were very polite and always greeted us. It's just that particular Chinese-speaking female front desk staff, for some unknown reason, always seemed to have a displeased expression while standing at the reception. Sigh. The hotel's shuttle bus service to and from New Chitose and Sapporo City is very convenient, but you need to book it online in advance. There are both free and paid options, depending on your pick-up location, and the earliest departures are quite early. The buffet was very affordable, and the front desk reminded us that Marriott members get a significant discount. Being a ski hotel, facilities like the onsen pool and shops only open after 2 PM.

The room offers a stunning view of Lake Toya, and it's super convenient for taking a boat tour or a stroll along the lake. The service is warm and attentive, with a shuttle service to and from the station. While the facilities are a bit dated and the dining could be improved, it's excellent value for money and very affordable.
