The staff were very patient. When we checked in and found the heating wasn't working properly, the front desk immediately arranged for staff to help us move our luggage and change rooms. Furthermore, breakfast was available à la carte without extra charge. It's a hotel worth recommending.

The location is excellent and the apartment itself is attractive and generally comfortable. However, considering that we paid around £137 for one night, I did not feel it offered good value for money. The apartment was very noisy, with considerable noise from the square outside as well as service/construction vehicles below. There were also some surprisingly impractical details — for example, there was nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels. The biggest disappointment was the service. I messaged shortly after 8am on the morning of check-out to ask whether we could leave our luggage for a few hours, but received no reply. By around noon, I still had not heard back and had to call. I was then simply told to find an external luggage-storage facility ourselves, which ended up costing us €20 for just a few hours. I appreciate that this is an apartment rather than a full-service hotel, but at this price I would expect better communication and more consideration for guests’ basic needs. The central location is undoubtedly a major advantage, but for us the noise, lack of practical details and limited service meant that it simply did not feel worth the price.

This is a brand new hotel with complete facilities. The SMEG kettle is adorable, and the gym is also great. The hotel has an excellent location; all attractions are within walking distance. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite, which is perfect for family trips. Restaurants, supermarkets, and taxi stands are all conveniently located near the hotel, and the hotel has its own parking lot where you can pick up your luggage directly from the parking lot to your room.

Exceptional Stay at Gran Hotel Miramar GL I had a truly wonderful experience at Gran Hotel Miramar GL during my stay from November 1st to 4th, 2025. The hotel is stunning—elegantly designed with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a beautiful view. The staff were exceptionally professional and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. Every detail, from the check-in process to the housekeeping service, was handled with care and efficiency. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The hotel's location is ideal—peaceful yet close to the beach and city attractions. Overall, Gran Hotel Miramar GL exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Málaga.

The place is located in a very beautiful historical building. The rooms are clean, the bed is good and comfortable, and the staff is responsible. However, people are not very open to exchanging with each other, and it costs money to store personal belongings. That's a little bit too much for me. At the very least, keeping luggage on the same day (within 12 or 24 hours) should be free.

The staff is very friendly and the location is good. I booked a twin room, but they upgraded me to a triple room?? I booked a room without a view, and I understand that there is no view, but the window could not be opened properly. During quarantine during the corona period, the window opens just enough to let in air. Also, there is an opaque sheet on the window, so it feels like I am in a motel, not a hotel. The staff was very friendly, but why,,, again???ㅎㅎ

Stayed for one night en route to Morocco. Plenty of secure parking ( and no restrictions on when the barriers are open etc so you can leave early etc). Really friendly, helpful lady (Lidia) on reception who helped us check in esdily. Great room plus fab very early buffet breakfast- we were leaving early and weee allowed to take fruit etc with us. Fab.

This was my second stay at Casa de la Merced. The location is great, the apartments are very comfortable. I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Malaga.

It was a lovely modern hostel, which is elegant and wunderbar. You have a nice private/capsuled bed too! There is a one centralized bathroom for all, to which attached a locker room. So your stuff is safe and locked, but you have to leave the room to retrieve it. A plus is there is a common space. Also a kitchen for you to cook your own meal! It’s also close to station! I just hope they retain the affordable price as it is now.

The hotel is nice, far from the city center, but there are buses that take 40 minutes to get there. If you are not in a hurry, you can consider it. Malaga Atlas is only 6 stops away, so it is also convenient for shopping.
