JJ1225This hotel is right on the waterfront, directly across from Qinglongshan Pier, surrounded by rice paddies and Puzhehei Lake. The rice has just been planted, and the lotus leaves are just beginning to emerge in the lake, with specks of green floating on the water. It will definitely be even more beautiful in June! I came specifically for Puzhehei, and it certainly lives up to its reputation; both the scenery and the facilities are excellent! The chef's cooking is delicious, and the vegetables taste so sweet! Overall, it's fantastic! Definitely worth another visit!

LLingLingiAvoiding Pitfalls: First, find a guesthouse in Puzhehei Village. This time, I stayed at ”Xiangwang Lakeview Guesthouse,” located in a scenic area of Puzhehei Village. Puxin Bridge and Lover's Bridge are only about a 10-minute walk apart. The guesthouses are all lined up one after another, whether they're by the water or not, but I personally recommend Xiangwang (because it's so comfortable). Any place within walking distance of Lover's Bridge is fine. The guesthouse is close to various attractions: Xihuang Wetland, Swan Lake, Fairy Cave… You don't need to visit them all. The best views are actually in the guesthouse itself. From this location, climbing Qinglong Mountain for a panoramic view of Puzhehei and watching the sunset are all free. To avoid being ripped off, be extremely wary of touts on the street. Listen to the owner! Listen to the owner! Listen to the owner! (I'm saying it three times because it's important!) If you enjoy travel photography and want to take pictures by the lotus pond, then find a photographer and makeup artist in advance (but this season isn't ideal; you'll have to wait until June when the lotus flowers are in full bloom for the most stunning photos). Finally, let me talk about the guesthouse. I was initially worried that the newly opened place would have a strong formaldehyde smell, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The ventilation was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, the afternoon tea was exquisite, there was a lot of welcome fruit, and many snacks that children would love. There were also plenty of seasonal fresh fruits, such as blueberries, loquats, grapes, pineapples, and bananas... Come and take photos with your friends!

the hotel is right on the lovers bridge which is great location.
also 10 min walk to hike on Qinglong Mountain view point 青龙山. it took us 20 min to go up by staires. the view from the top is super worth it.
the room was big and cleane and they send us fruites every day.as well when we left for our drive to the next destination.
dont miss it we have had great time there.

GGuest UserI originally just wanted to visit Puzhehei for a change of pace, but I never expected this stay to be the most delightful surprise of my entire trip.
The moment I stepped into the room, I felt completely at ease. It was clean and tidy, and I slept incredibly well. What truly captivated me was the stunning lake view framed by the floor-to-ceiling window. As the sun set, the entire sky and lake were bathed in a warm, orange glow. The distant mountains stood still, and the water sparkled. Standing on the hotel's lawn, watching the complete sunset, all the fatigue from traveling and the worries in my heart were instantly soothed.
The staff were incredibly genuine and thoughtful. They weren't intrusive, yet their attentiveness and warmth shone through in every detail. Here, there's no need to rush your itinerary; you simply slow down and enjoy the mountains, water, and breeze.
If I ever return to Puzhehei, this place will undoubtedly be my top choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to truly relax and connect with nature.

The room was clean, the facilities were new, and the toiletries were of good quality. The upstairs terrace had a lovely view. The receptionist was very helpful, even assisting with our luggage, and gave us a coffee voucher.

GGuest UserThe hotel specifications are very good among the surrounding B&Bs. The proprietress is as enthusiastic as the comments say, and she invited us to have dinner with them. Although we came here in winter, it was not cold at all, and the attractions were much cheaper than usual. We also went to Swan Lake to ride a paddle board, and the scenery was beautiful. The most recommended thing is to go to the strawberry field to pick strawberries and experience the pastoral life when you come here in this season.

The hotel's decoration style is very tasteful, elegant and upscale, and exquisite in every detail. There is a restaurant, the chef's dishes are especially delicious, and there is also a coffee machine. It is a good place to rest, vacation and daydream. In addition, the lady at the front desk and the lady from Northeast China were very welcoming. It was raining and very cold when we went there, and the waiter immediately brought us a heater, making us feel at home.

The window is facing the lake, the view is wide and the scenery is very good. The room is equipped with a small balcony separately, and it is especially pleasant to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset fall. The coffee shop on the first floor is also opened by the boss. The coffee craftsmanship is great. There are discounts for guests staying, especially the scenery outside the window is very good. It is recommended!

Let me talk about the advantages first. The service staff we came into contact with were all very good, including the front desk, housekeeping, chefs, etc. They were all enthusiastic and natural.
The surrounding environment is also very good, whether it is sightseeing or jogging, it is very suitable.
Let's talk about the disadvantages: there seemed to be only one chef for breakfast, and it was not until 9 o'clock that everything was served. There were small steamed buns, dumplings, corn, rice noodles, fried rice, porridge, and nothing else. Anyway, I left without waiting for the porridge to be served.
There was also room service which also felt a bit understaffed.
The karaoke was held until very late at night, which was a bit noisy, but understandable.
Overall, there is a feeling that management is not keeping up, manpower is insufficient, and training is not adequate.

GGuest UserLast year, friends visited this inn and recommended it to me. I was drawn to the courtyard view in the photos and booked it. The male owner was very easy to communicate with over the phone. On my first night, I checked in alone in a king-size room with a courtyard view. Upon arrival, I had to wait a while before I was checked in, but I was quite satisfied. It was the first room on the second floor, on the top floor. The view wasn't much, and the courtyard view was towards the desk. However, the amenities were good, with central air conditioning and decent internet.
The next day, two friends were coming over, so we switched to a twin room. My mood completely tanked. It was the worst room in the courtyard, next to the guest room. It smelled terrible and was so dark that we had to turn on the lights during the day. It was a bit of a bummer to stay in a dark room for the price I paid, but since my friends were coming soon, I couldn't really check out. Since it was only one night and I wasn't going to be in the room to enjoy the view, I decided to leave it that way.
I asked the hotel for travel tips, and many people said they found great deals on inns. Unexpectedly, the hotel's recommendation, without any tips, was even higher than the platform. I was completely stunned and had to continue using the platform and asking other people. I also discovered that the hotel was mostly packed with group travelers, with very few independent travelers. No wonder the housekeeper had no recommendations.
I got some useful information from other small hotels. After picking up my friend and returning to his room, I discovered the internet connection was incredibly poor. After repeated attempts to resolve the issue, I gave up on the hotel and decided to find another place the next day.
The second night was a truly terrible experience. For some reason, I heard roosters crowing from 3 a.m., and even with earplugs, I couldn't fall asleep. My friends had the same experience, and by 5 a.m., we couldn't stand it anymore and simply got up to watch the sunrise.
The higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. I had planned to stay for three days, but I quickly fled after two. With the wide range of prices in Puzhehei, housekeeper services are actually very important for tourists. I hope the owner, while making money, will also consider providing better customer service for the long term.
To be honest, the hotel's overall facilities are quite good. The air conditioning and bathroom facilities are good, and my friends found the mattresses comfortable.
The roosters crowing on the second day was truly unbelievable (they didn't on the first day).
