Facilities: Great, very comprehensive. Hygienic: clean and hygienic, good service. Environment: Very good, very clean Service: There is Chinese service, the service is very good, the network is very fast. Traveling is worth it, Chinese service is very good, the network is very fast.

Our experience in the restarant area for the morning free breakfast was excellent. Not only the delicious breakfast, tThe host of the restaurant I believe i heard her name was Bev, was very friendly. Also make sure that we were provided with a fantastic breakfast. She started our day with a smile, and much firendliness while we enjoyed it there. Please let ”Bev” we appreciate her kindness and friendly hospitality in this Winnipeg restaurant.

Hotel is difficult to get to with construction and the parking is not convenient. The area is a high crime location and it can be very uncomfortable around the area. Hotel was packed with people. We were informed many were staying because they were displaced, or coming from out of country. Which is completely fine, and only an issue for the sheer volume of people and families living long term in the building and in the small reception area. There was only 2 elevators working and one was broken for a while, there were long lines to access the elevator. Staff were obviously exhausted and mostly indifferent. There was security but the area and hotel did not feel secure. It was a very loud, cramped, hectic one night stay for us.

Outside hotel was littered with trash. People milling around in and around lobby. Hotel was an evacuation centre for a northern reserve due to forest fire. Our room was scheduled on third floor and with a comment on the evacuees being on that floor we requested to be moved to another floor which the desk attendant gladly granted. The elevator was littered with trash. A huge footprint on the elevator door. Security was on each floor. Our floor was quiet. Our room was nicely prepared. Around 11 pm the police arrived to break up an altercation in the front entrance of the hotel. Paramedics and the fire truck arrived to assist. Male was stabbed by a female and both were cuffed and removed by police. People were out front until well passed 2:30am. Lots of sirens all night long. It was a tiring night. They comped us with free breakfast but did not go as previous reviews said breakfast was not worth the effort. We will not be returning.

The sound of air condition was quite loud but compare to the sound of the shower, it was relatively not that bad. The water flow pressure makes the sound over 5 mins before it became normal. We expected Fairmount standard higher than we experienced.

The staff and and servers for the breakfast were amazingly helpful. The quality and variety of the food was excellent. We were surprised by the fresh omelets served for breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The server at the desk offered to help me with getting wifi on my phone which I did not have.

This was an overnight, weekend leisure stay for a nearby event. Despite having never stayed here before, the location was very convenient and the website photos were encouraging. Booking was simple using the website and check in was pleasant. On entering the room, the temperature was noticeably hot. Uncomfortably hot. We assessed this was because of direct sunlight coming through the window so we closed the shade somewhat and beeped the temperature down on the thermostat. Due to our schedule, and not thinking it would be an issue, we left immediately and didn't advise the desk. On return later that evening, the room was still incredibly hot (~25-30C) despite the thermostat being set to 19C. We had another timeline to make but we advised the desk on leaving. We were told the room temperature was ”centrally controlled” and that it wasn't possible to change it. We were offered a change of room but this was impossible as we had to leave immediately. We were offered a fan which we accepted. On return to the room the 3rd time later that night, the temperature was ridiculously high and nearly unbearable; the vent was blowing hot. The fan was of little use as the window would not open so it simply circulated stale air. We also noticed the blinds would not fully close so early morning sunlight brought an abrupt end to an already terrible night's sleep. On check out, the person at the desk made no inquiry into the quality of our stay and we simply left the keys on the desk. I then had to call the hotel later for a copy of the receipt as one wasn't emailed. I stay in hotels 60+ nights/year and this was one of the worst for quality, value and customer service. I will not be returning.

I quite enjoyed the room—particularly the floors, as the dingy carpet so typical in these chain hotels had been removed. This gave the room a much cleaner, modern, and appealing vibe. Lots of space for office work with plenty of plug ins. From my 26th floor room, the view was great. Bed is comfy. I do wish that the hotel would provide a plain kettle for boiling water. I am a tea drinker not coffee, and boiling water in those little ‘coffee makers’ is very awkward, not to speak of the lingering coffee aftertaste. There was a fridge but no microwave. No safe. Unfortunately the restaurant which I only tried once was TRULY mediocre. For wine lovers, don’t bother—they only had 1-2 selections of horrible wine. Go with beer — much safer. My main issue is that the location of the hotel has become quite troubling, with many First Nations individuals in the area, many clearly suffering from substance abuse. Often they were congregated around the doors, and there seemed to be very little in the way of security. As a solo female traveller, I felt unsafe. Even during the day, there were two fights that broke out nearby during my four day stay. Very sad and unfortunate but I would not elect to stay here again until this situation improves.

Room facilities are a bit old, but health is OK. The bed is particularly soft, and it will feel very tired after a night of sleep. This pure personal feeling, a small partner who likes a soft bed is a good choice! I have no breakfast in the room, which determines that the price/performance ratio is still a little low. The most important thing is that there is no free parking lot. I didn’t expect this parking time. The parking fee is 15 knives/day. Others are okay, friends who have no car live here is good, after all, it is downtown, it is quite convenient.
