The room is quite standard, a bit like a motel. The location is very good, only ten minutes walk from the port. The town is the entrance to the Whitsunday Islands. We came from Hamilton Island, and the price here is quite suitable.

This place is probably the best (or in the top 3) of places to stay in Airlie. The location is great..right on the water (remember you can’t swim though due the stingers for most of the year). Views are amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful (after being asked a few times). The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. However the place seriously lacks in meeting international standards for 4-5 star accommodation. Room service stops at 8.30 and the restaurant won’t take bookings past this time! There’s no restaurants in Airlie that take bookings after this time. There’s no in room phone to ring reception.. unbelievable! There’s no drawers in the rooms, other than your beside table, to put clothes in. You’re provided with 5 theft proof coat hangers..are they that dear? We asked the cleaners twice and reception once for more but they never came. It’s best of the very average approach Airlie takes to tourists. We travel a lot are amazed and embarrassed at how expensive and poor quality tourism provisions are in North Queensland.

We stayed in apartment #40 a 3 bedroom penthouse. And boy when they say penthouse it sure is not a lie!!!! This apartment had the most amazingly stunning views I have ever seen. You feel like you are literally on top of the world. The views go on and on and on. Words cannot describe! The outdoor space is unbelievable. You have outdoor space on the main level along with the amazing top level. Pictures do not do it justice. From the interior of the apartment there are a set of stairs up to the outdoor space. Once you open the door you will be amazed. A vast sitting area, snooker table, darts (need new darts, the tips were not very sharp according to our resident dart player), BBQ grill, counter space with a sink and fridge. There are 2 loungers to soak up the sun and a small pool to the side. Our only issue was the pool, when we arrived it did not look clean. We called the next morning and we think she was the property manager, came over quickly. And apologized for it not being cleaned, she got in contact with the pool people and they came over within the hour. The did clean it and treated it but truth be told, I think it needs a refresh. Some tiles were missing or in the pool and it really needs a good deep clean. Wasn't appealing to really go in but we did utilize it since it was blistering hot most days we were there. The interior space was awesome. Plenty of room to spread out. The master bedroom was huge but be aware it is an open concept no door to shower or toilet. Not an issue for me and my husband but some may not feel the same way. Our only other minor issue was the noise that the A/C unit made a constant humming sound which may bother light sleepers. You will need a vehicle here. The walk down to town is not bad going downhill but not sure walking back up would be advisable LOL! We took a taxi back up, not a problem. A great place, highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed.

I stayed at Vista apartments for one week and it was very relaxing, pleasant stay. The staff, the ladies, Bebe and Robyn were very welcoming and very helpful with advice on where to get the best coffee or meal, places to visit, and very helpful with suggesting and arranging the tours. And available for a chat, which is great for solo travellers. Thank you, ladies! I stayed in one bedroom apartment that was very clean, bed linen changed midweek. Well equipped kitchenette so I could make meals when I felt like. Stunning views from balcony. Nothing beats the morning coffee on the balcony with the views of the harbor, the sea and islands on horizon. Bus stop next to the hotel if you don't feel like walking, however, it was only short walk to Port Airlie and about 10 -15 minutes to the main street, lagune and boardwalk. By the way, bus fare is 50 cents! There is free underground car park as well. So.if you want great accommodation at the very sensible price, go to the Vista! Oh, almost forgot. There is Thai restaurant at the hotel, that offers delicious dinners and I would highly recommend Zorro cafe at Port area, look up the photos to see why.

Very good, the back door is the beach pool. I called the boss at two o'clock in the afternoon to tell us that we arrived at six o'clock. He said that he hanged the phone, then sent a text message to me, telling me that the password was taken from the box, and after that. Take the envelope, inside is the precautions and room key, half self-service bar is, this place is relatively small, not far from a pizza shop is particularly delicious, highly recommended

A hotel by the sea - a total of three floors, the room is a sea view on the side of the street, the room is small, the layout is also difficult to describe. It feels like a room and a hall. Then a bed in the room. A bed in the living room. Then there is basically no place.

Even if there is no quilt, it is drunk. The environment is full of whitsunday. There is a parking lot. If you don’t drive, you will walk a steep slope. If you come back with luggage or supermarket shopping, it will be very troublesome.

The rooms are suites, there are rooms and rooms, the rooms are spacious, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the rooms have microwaves and hot water bottles, but they are not cooked, and the balcony faces the beach. It is very convenient to have McDonald's, food market and supermarket for about 10 minutes on foot! The front desk service is super good, intimately introduce the places and supermarkets nearby to eat, you can report in the hotel or in the nearby local travel agency. Very satisfied, come back to this hotel absolutely!

Good location, near the pier,
Free parking, breakfast included, stovetop and microwave for cooking.
There are family rooms, swimming pools,
It is convenient to have a washing machine for AUD4 and a dryer for AUD3.
We went to Hamilton Island for one night, parked the car at the hotel, and returned for another night.
Overall good, airlie beach is beautiful.
The staff were very good, they also waited in advance to communicate, and introduced the facilities.
That is, there are many mosquitoes, so take good protection.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI stayed at the Boathouse Apartments with my husband and 15 month old son after my son was quite sick on Hamilton island and unable to fly home. As there was no accommodation on Hamilton island I called up a few different places and settled on the Boathouse Apartments. I called ahead of time to see if we could check in early so my son could nap after the journey across. The reception staff were quite friendly and did try to get us in quickly however when we got to the room there was a rollaway bed instead of a cot. We left the room and came back to a cot being dumped in the apartment and not set up at all (not a big issue but also not what I’d expect paying the price for premium accommodation). The following morning I received a text that they had to do maintenance in our apartment for roughly 2 hours (I was never advised of this even though I called twice, told them I had a sick child and booked over the phone). We had staff knock on the door twice throughout the day to see when they could do it. First when we had a screaming child we were trying to give antibiotics too and secondly when we were trying to get him down for a nap (again when he was very distressed). We ended up having to leave and sit in a room after an unsuccessful nap with a toddler who had a high fever, ear infection and a rash. I’d also been trying to book a Telehealth appointment to have my son assessed but this was made difficult due to the fact we had to leave the room. One of the reasons I booked was due to the washer/dryer, we had no clothes left so I did a wash upon arrival. I ran the dryer multiple times that evening and kept finding sopping wet clothes at the end of every cycle which was really frustrating. On the following day we asked about the dryer and were advised that they don’t work very well and that the only apartments that had dryers were occupied. Because of this we were forced to wear the same clothes for 3 days straight. Not great for a messy/sick toddler.. We eventually were able to get our clothes dried and received them around 5pm the night before checking out. While I do appreciate the staff for doing so, it wasn’t very helpful at that point. The whole experience was really awful. Travelling with a sick child is hard enough let alone having that added stress. I am pretty annoyed that no one advised us of the works needing to occur during our stay and the fact that a dryer is falsely advertised. I never would have booked if I had known either of these things ahead of time and I feel fairly ripped off for the money we paid given it wasn’t exactly for a holiday..
This place was absolutely magical. Literally from the moment we arrived we loved every bit of it. Absolutely stunning views. Beautiful southeasterly breeze whilst sitting either on the beautiful deck of our own amazing boat (cabin), up on the pool or on the gorgeous couches in the reception area. Every part of this place was lovely. The gardens are beautifully looked after. The cabins had the best views and were super clean. I loved all the little thoughts, umbrellas, bug spray, great mini bar selection. The breakfast was perfect, loved the variety and little daily surprises salmon crepe or berry pancakes. It is super close to the northerlies restaurant which we went to a few times but we were also able to get the free shuttle bus into Airlie which was super handy 15 minutes up the road. I have to say that every single staff member was beyond lovely, not forced or over the top but appeared genuinely happy and friendly. I didn’t catch his name but the property manager was just so hospitable and naturally engaging. He has to be one of the loveliest hosts I have met in my travels. I can not recommend this place more highly, perfect to get away from all the busy rigmarole and just chill.
GGuest UserThe Mirage is a gorgeous hotel with modern rooms and breathtaking views. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment (room 53) which overlooked the sea and the pool. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities. It’s a 5min cab ride to the main ***** in Airlie Beach which costs $10 each way. The hotel also offer a free shuttle at 10:30am and 2:30pm daily which was handy. Now to go over the not so great aspects of hotel. The rug in room 53 is stained, dirty and I had to ask for someone to come up to vacuum it when I arrived because I didn’t want my baby crawling on it. Even with the vacuum it was still disgusting. The rug needs to go! The bed heads need to be replaced as the material is flaking and gets all over the bed. The shower screens were not cleaned at all. Standard of cleaning must be improved. The breakfast is pretty average, presentation, quality and variety needs to be improved. The portable clothes line in our laundry was old and broken, needed to be thrown out and not offered to guests in that state. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.
Aamr3zzTo be honest one of the most friendly staff I have ever met during my travels, shout out to the experts in the reception for organizing our tour and special thanks for Rachel for making our vacation more fun and explainong all the tours and fun activities in Details
GGuest UserWe have had 2 x lunches this week with a party of 12 and 8… food was amazing both days.. all ladies loved their food. I have food intolerances and so happy to see so many GF options on new menu. Elly was hostess with the most ! Service was awesome.. Di was also very helpful in bistro. Great visits both times. Lisa in the bar also full of smiles ! Great to see and will be back x
YYINANBecause I had mistaken the flight for the original three nights and turned into two nights, I called the front desk, and the duty manager Gene was very good to give up the first night’s room rate, bringing a bad episode to the trip. The stock is clear; but the hotel is generally clean, a bit far from the port of airlie, walking for half an hour, taxi 10 knife, go out is a taxi can also accept; bad is too many ants, 8-6 points The time is almost no service, gave an emergency call, may only solve the big thing like fire or life, our room is not quilt, we don’t plan to solve it once, hang up once, the attitude is very bad, if not Gene, then nice This hotel is absolutely three points. In the case of the question of the quilt, it is fair ok. Children love the outdoor pool.
GGuest UserStayed a week at end of May. Happy with having basic needs met- close to Coles and other amenities. Across the road and a bit, from the beach. Reasonably clean and quiet. Has a small but useful gym. The hotel rooms are a bit tired, with paint chipping off, marked, mirrors fading, shower glass worn out, etc. But nothing that affected my comfort or wellbeing. The bed is HUGE- bigger than a king size. There is a bar fridge, kettle (plastic!), aircon, iron, hair dryer. There is full-sized body wash, shampoo and conditioner supplied. Shower water is lovely. Basin is very shallow and almost impossible to wash hands without touching the basin. So of course, not possible to wash any clothing (or food, not that you’d want to!) in there. There is noise during the day from other residents enjoying the pool and chatting. By evening time, there isn’t any noise to interfere with sleep. On entering the room for the first time, the smell of bleach was overwhelming and took more than a day to dissipate. Large glass sliding doors with floor-length curtains wasn’t enough to block out the outside lights - those that light up the pool and exterior of the building, which are on all night. If you prefer complete dark, wear an eye mask. Gym is clean and tidy. Never saw anyone use it. I’m prone to attract mossies but didn’t have any issues this week. Had a big roach in the room but I guess that’s inevitable. Staff all very friendly and helpful. I’d be happy to return again!
GGuest UserPositive points: - childfree - in walking distance of the main street (which includes a grocery store, pharmacy, clothes and accessory shops a number of restaurants and cafes and a maccas and pizza shops) - in walking distance to the beach. - Courtesy buses for tours and restaurants will pick you up from this hotel. - Our room had a spa bath. - Beds are comfy. - Ocean view. Negative points: - The plates, cups and cutlery in the kitchen weren't clean. - As a female, not a great deal of security. Some of the fly screens look like they had been slashed because they had been badly ripped apart and the entry door has the old key and lock system. So, if I was travelling alone, I wouldn't have felt safe with very minimal security on the room. - The bathroom floor is quite cheap and rough on the feet.
姚姚The price is good, the location is at the foot of the mountain, the house on the mountain is expensive, the place is on the most lively street, because it is winter, the street is relatively deserted, the large supermarket is across the road, you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes, and the nearby entertainment facilities are complete. Pools, bars, shops and playgrounds are all available.
TTwenteThe room is large, with separate bathroom, separate shower, kitchen, cloakroom. It is not very neat and clean. At the end of August, there was a sheet on the bed. It was too cold. I woke up at 4 o'clock and found that there was a small blanket in the cloakroom. It was too small and about the same size as today. It was covered with two bath towels. The best is the location, shopping around various bars, BWS, Woolworth walk3-5 minutes away. Airport shuttle is also very convenient.
