Punta Arenas Hotels with Bars

The staff was very nice and helpful. The entrance area, the bar and the restaurant were very nice and good - the room was a bit smaller than expected and had the window in a shaft. The gym consisted of a collection of (older) sports equipment, but was OK if you don't have high expectations. The wellness area borders directly on the fitness area, seemed extremely uncomfortable and we would have had to pay another $20 per person, which definitely wouldn't have been worth it.

The heating in the room performed well, especially in the cold southern climate. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water. The public areas are also very elegant, especially the hotel's lobby and bar area, which are suitable for taking a nap or chatting with friends. The hotel also provides a small gym and meeting rooms to meet the different needs of business or leisure travelers. 3. Service Quality The service team at Cape Horn Hotel deserves praise. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was friendly and professional. They were happy to answer questions, helped me plan day trips, and provided many useful suggestions, especially about local restaurants and visits to the Magellanic Penguin Sanctuary. 4. Dining Experience The hotel restaurant's dining is excellent, focusing on Patagonian flavors and local Chilean specialties. The breakfast is very rich, serving fresh bread, eggs, cheese, fruits and local desserts. For dinner, it is recommended to try their lamb chops or seafood, paired with Chilean wine, which is a taste experience. 5. Overall Value for Money Although the price of Cape Horn Hotel is on the high side, it is definitely worth it considering the high-quality service it provides and the convenient location. The service was great and professional. We stayed only for 2 nights to go on the boat tour to the antarctic. I'm really happy towards the end where we checked out but we were allowed to keep our luggages at the hotel while we explored the city for the last time. The young staff, didn't catch his name, was very helpful and assisted us with ordering a 🚕. Only downside would be the carpet in the room didn't look very clean, but aside from that it was great.

Very slow in finding usa room, when showed up before three pm, the scheduled time of checkin. Whenarrived just before 3pm, we were not given room. Whilst waited infront of the reception, I notcied that another customer was able to get room instantly.

I carried 3 suitcases because I was going to the South Pole, but I was told that I had to carry my luggage by myself and no one helped me.
