The Inn was charming .. We had a two day stay in room 5 and it was nicer than the photos (clean, spacious and comfortable) . The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the sisters . The breakfast was amazingly!

We had a very comfortable stay at the inn. It is close to Acadia National park and to downtown both places have so much to do. All three mornings our breakfast was so delicious. While waiting for breakfast, we were served warm muffins and pumpkin bread which was great with our coffee. Every day there are freshly baked treats in the afternoon that are scrumptious. We would definitely stay again.

We had the best time at the Cleftstone Inn! Steffan was born to be an inn keeper! He and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating —so friendly and laid-back, it felt like staying with old friends. The breakfasts were delicious, something savory or sweet and different each day. And there were fresh baked goodies available all day (dangerously good!). The rooms were impeccably decorated, each one totally different from the next—like a new little adventure every time you walked in. Cozy, charming, and full of personality. Can’t wait to come back!

This was truly such a lovely stay and we could not have been happier with our stay at Cleftstone! Every interaction with staff was so personable and helpful truly helping our stay be that much better! Breakfast is genuinely so good and super filling, something we were initially worried about! They do a very cute tea time which has great baked goods make from scratch that are perfect to come back to after being out on the town. Super convenient location to if you are looking to take the free shuttle that takes you into town. Bed was super comfortable and the pillows were top tier! Can’t thank Steffen, Amoya, Orlando, Anita and Marina enough!

The front hostess was so warm and inviting and we loved learning about the history of the Inn from Steffen. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, & the ben pillows were wonderful! Breakfast was delicious both mornings- our favorite was a bacon & egg sandwich with fresh fruit. Highly recommend!

Loved the Clefstone Inn! Great price for, incredible breakfasts (and midday snacks), all day coffee/tea, and wonderful service from Marina, Steffen, and Anita. Downtown is a 5 min. drive away and Acadia National Park is a 10 min. drive away. We stayed in Room 11 with the detached bathroom right across from our room. We had a private key to the restroom, so no one else is able to access it. Would love to come again!
