It was a very pleasant stay! Even though the bathroom was across the hall, it wasn't a problem as it was only two steps from the door of the room.

We stayed in the main part of the Inn. It is a great location within walking distance to the Main St. restaurants and shopping. The Bubbles room was spacious and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed having the yummy breakfast on our room-adjacent porch. All in all, a lovely place. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Bar Harbor.

We are thoroughly enjoying our long weekend stay here! While I love our room (The Precipice), I’d upgrade to have a balcony next time! Comfortable bed, very clean linens and room. Love the windows that open and a fan for great cross breezes up on the 3rd floor. Plus a split a/c unit to cool the room on warm afternoons. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast delivered to the room. The small issues that we had were quickly resolved. Great location. I’d definitely return!

The bed was really comfy and the location was perfect for strolling around Bar Harbor. We were thankful to be able to stay in town. Walk to Limon Grille...excellent food!

I booked this on my own travel agent system - I booked 2 rooms for 4 adults on room only so assumed we would be in the motel not the Inn. When we arrived our friends were in the motel but my husband and I had been out in the Inn so had breakfast included - that was of course a bit awkward as our friends had room only. The lady at check in said we should have booked direct but as my booking said room only on both rooms why would I question it? She was quite off hand and cringed when she saw our luggage as we had been put in the smallest room in the inn on the top floor when I had request low floor due to my husband’s knee injury. There was no room to keep our suitcases so we had to take the clothes out we needed for our stay here and stow the cases out of the way. The inn is a bit like a museum very old (for the USA) and the toilet in our bathroom was horrible We made the best of it but I will not be recommending it to my clients sadly

A lovely place to stay, a historical bed and breakfast. Grounds are kept up beautifully. Wide front porch with wicker furniture and a gazebo on the lawn for guests to enjoy. The rooms were amazing, very big and carefully furnished. The pride the owners take in their place is evident. And to top it off, we were served a hot breakfast to our room which was ordered the night before. Everything from Eggs Benedict to Blueberry Scones!

This room was big but needed some work ! It was much over priced as well $250. Wow!! We stayed in the 2 story motel next door to the large house & we booked it a year in advance. The carpet near the bathroom was dirty and thread bare , needed replacement . For the price , they ought to be able to do it !! I think they show pics on their website of beautifully decorated rooms in the large house. This wasn’t beautifully decorated room but the bed was good and comfortable . This room was a real rip off.. a $70.00 room at best . At least it appeared clean !

The Moseley Cottage Inn was absolutely perfect for our stay in Bar Harbor! It was nestled down a quiet side street but just a short walk to the heart of downtown. We stayed in the Strath Eden room on the third floor which was a bit tricky with suitcases but so worth it! It was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed and linens were very comfortable and my husband quickly claimed the long chaise for reading. We had a gorgeous view of the gardens and neighborhood from four bright windows where we ate breakfast that was delivered on a tray each morning! Heaven! Our favorite stop on our road trip through New England!
