Property Description
Bar Harbor House is newly constructed, spacious, and at the edge of downtown. The house is a 5-minute drive to Acadia National Park entrances, Carriage Roads, and waterfront. Eagle Lake Road is known for frequent sightings of Bald Eagles and Peregrine Falcons nest nearby. Kebo Valley Golf Course is just across the street from the Bar Harbor House. Kebo Valley is the 8th oldest golf course in the United States. Traces of historical influence are notable and have been preserved. Conveniently located with parking for two/three vehicles helps to avoid searching for parking spaces, meter fees, and frustration. There is a secure garage for storing bikes, kayaks, fishing supplies, golf gear, and more. The Bar Harbor House will accommodate up to 8 guests and is a special place for family and friends to be together. Many lasting memories are made here! Everything went very smoothly, the house was very clean and organized and perfect for our family of 5. Great location as well. Can’t say enough good things about Deborah, she went above and beyond to make our stay amazing and her communication was great! Definitely the best Vrbo experience we have ever had.

The house is on a steep incline with many stairs so it prepared us for all the hiking we did during our stay. The owners gave us great tips and ideas for things to do and see while there. We had a great time!!

I would rate Deborah a 10! She is the best host we ever had. Deborah is exceptional and exceeded all expectations. She is an outstanding host who help provide a wonderful experience and a truly made our trip memorable. Deb was very responsive to all communications being available day and night by phone, texting and emailing. Her response was always quick and offered her assistance. The house was exceptional and well maintained. Immaculately, clean and comfortable. The couches and the reclinerswere so comfortable none of us wanted to get out of them. The interior decorating design was very pleasant. Enjoyed seeing Acadia pictures. Mattresses So were so comfortable and insured a good night sleep. We really appreciated the ironed pillowcases. Deb goes above and beyond with welcoming you into the home. Her hospitality and thoughtfulness, providing food for breakfast and dinner, treats and snacks and water, coffee and coffee creamer, hot chocolate, tea and a fully stocked pantry. Deborah is a wealth of information. She has a wall providing maps and pamphlets and a homemade binder for for exploring in Bar Harbor providing a list of boat tours, hiking trails, restaurants, etc. I utilized much of the information and the recommendation from a local standpoint of view. The location was absolutely perfect so convenient a short walk to town and from there, you could also utilize the free shuttle to Acadia. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Ann

This is a lovely, comfortable, very clean home in a great location—just minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. Deb thought of everything to make the home feel welcoming. It was so helpful to have the refrigerator stocked with the basics, a frozen lasagna, and snacks and coffee for our stay. Deb was caring and kind, and she and Dan were available to help if needed.

Most thorough VRBO we have used
The house was absolutely immaculate, with every detail meticulously cared for. Deb was great, a true resource of local knowledge whose suggestions for exploring the area were very helpful. Her recommendations truly elevated our trip! The location was ideal, offering easy access to the heart of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Plus, the "quiet side" was just a short, scenic drive away, offering a nice change of pace. We especially loved the convenience of being able to walk directly downtown. This spot is a five-star, well appointed, and cared for property with a very responsive owner. This was the best vacation rental we have experienced with lots of thought and care showing throughout the house and with communication.

Family trip
Great location. Clean, comfortable, modern house. Fantastic hosts.Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was well stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware and supplies including some fresh food and bottled water. There were notebooks and pens in every room, a closet with toys and musical instruments, and plenty of reading material about Bar Harbor, Acadia, and the area.Deborah and Dan provided detailed information about the house, appliances, and check-out procedures. We decided to visit the "Quiet Side" based on their recommendation and enjoyed a great hike on the Wonderland and Ship Harbor Trails. We enjoyed our stay at the Bar Harbor House and recommend it to everyone who is planning to visit Acadia.
