Hotels in Khaosan Road, Bangkok

Our go-to hotel when in Bangkok for a couple of nights. Yes, it's old and a bit worn, but the location suits us (close to the Grand Palace and Khao San Road) the pool is nice, they have a 24 hour desk, and provide safe luggage storage for a reasonable fee. Definitely not upscale or fancy, but we just came from a resort that cost 3x the price and the bed and sheets at the Royal were of much higher quality and comfort!

1st - Cleanliness The room itself was spick and span, except for the balcony which was full of dust. The toilet was fine and has bidet (which was a plus!) 2nd - Location Not too far from the beach and other attractions (or restaurant), around 10 to 15 minutes walk. If you don't want to get soak in sweat at 2 pm, please consider renting a motorcycle or you can also take their van (yes, this hotel do provide a van that can drop you off at their other hotel which is closer to the beach but pay attention to the schedule at reception). 3rd - Service The receptionists were amazing! They were friendly and willing to help and answer my questions. Always gave me the best of their smile whenever I look at them! Here's a story, they even came to my room at 12 am just because I got stuck in the toilet (although they took 15 minutes to get in the room and another 1 hour to open the door, I'm still grateful that they still help!). 4th - Ameneties For a place this affordable, I did not expect much but they have everything a hotel should have as amenities! You can also call them and ask for things like face towel, etc. if you need it. Their responsiveness to my call when I needed some extra shampoo definitely deserved a star (they came to my room faster when I asked for shampoo than when I got stuck in bathroom 😑)! overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Lovely grand old hotel. It's the type of luxury and grandeur that you don't find anymore. The workers of the hotel are very accommodating and provide a great experience, always going out their way to help. There's two swimming pools - a bar pool in building A and a quieter full sized swimming pool in building D. The breakfast is varied, but if it's busy, sometimes popular things like salaami and eggs run out quickly. The breakfast is an early finish at 10am. There's also a fee restaurants on site. The hotel is walking distance to the Palace, temples and Khao San Road in one direction, and Siam in another. Would definitely stay here again.

Centara Life Hotel Bangkok Phra Nakhon * Showers, no rain shower head, great water pressure and hot water! But it keeps switching from hot to cold constantly * Breakfast 250 baht per person. It was less than average tasting. I’m unsure why it has such high ratings. Just normal omelette, bacon was too chewy, rain was plain, there was a cool espresso machine, egg soup noodle was good, meat was dry. * Complementary welcome drinks * They make guests download their app to get request like housekeeping, ordering tuk tuk to Khao San road (food, bar, shopping vendors), additional amenities if room runs out, laundry service. It doesn’t work very well. It keeps saying housekeeping and amenities requests has been completed, but it wasn’t. I don’t know if it’s automatic or someone is housekeeping was lying here or just broken system to use the app for such requests. * Laundry service (ridiculous price in my opinion) * 250 or around $6 a Jean or pants * 100 or $3 for a tshirt

Good location, just 15 mins walk to Khaosan. The room is clean, staffs are friendly and breakfast is great! They have movie time in pool area and you can watch from your balcony or from the stair, good vibe! I realy enjoy my stay here, definietly gonna come back!

A bit old but still very nice hotel for a Family accomodation of 4 people. Reasonable price, quite location, nice balcony view, big pool area, good breakfasts (small children 5 and 7 could eat free of charge), 2 big beds in a Family room. 7/11 just in front of the hotel. Fruit market 5 min walk. Not too many restaurants nearby, but very easy to grab a taxi to city center. The only thing that can bother a bit - thin walls, so sometimes you can hear what your neighbours are doing.

We were only staying 1 night, location is great foyer smelt amazing, staff were helpful, decor was elegant and room was clean. was only 1 mirror in bathroom but no plug point there for hairdryer. Fridge not cold, aircon good but loud, but very cool hotel and would stay again. 2 min walk to river

I stayed at Buddy’s lodge back in 2017 and absolutely loved the hotel for the rooftop pool and the decor of the room, so I had to return whilst in Bangkok. The hotel has remained the stay which I loved. The the staff were great changing my room to have a view. However the room sadly had a couple of issues. There was no towels when I arrived, when I asked for some I was given one from the pool area and was told proper towels would be given later in the day sadly they didn’t. There was a set of fake eyelashes left on the side table and the curtain on top of the bed had a large rip in in. That said the bed was extremely comfortable and the aircon was great which made come back to the room after exploring specifically satisfying. I would return again.

The hotel is in an excellent location= there are very many restaurants,massage centers.Breakfast was okey.There was everything needed in the room including an electric tea pot,but at the weekend the street is very busy and extremely noisy till 2-3am,so maybe problematic to sleep,if your room is facing the busy street.

.very good hotel not far from the city center. Very clean, not great choice for breakfast but the quality is good. Thai food is also served . Very easy to reach directly from the airport with the bus shuttle S1.15 minutes walk to the nearest tube station
