Recently stayed at Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok and overall the room was really good, big and clean, well equipped and quite comfortable to stay.
The biggest problem, though, is its location. Although not too far from the BTS/MRT, the weather in Bangkok was too hot and the walk to the station was really tiring and there was no shade, which made it not very comfortable.
Breakfast and shuttle service I did not use, so do not comment.
Summary: The room is an advantage, but if you plan to play by walking or by rail, you really need to think about the location.

Ricky at the front desk was very helpful and the hotel facilities were new and cost-effective. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the service was friendly. The lobby was stocked with tea, mouthwash, iodine swabs, etc., which was very considerate.
