2380 baht really terrible!!! It's like your in a 12 bunkbed room. Location is great......but, you can hear the person in the next room pee, if they shower it's like your room is flooding, drains bubbling. It's an earthquake if anyone else in the building moves. Windows at the top of the walls =may as well sleep on the verandah(photo doesn't do it justice)
This would be fine if it was 12 bunk room with a hostel price.
Just stay in a hotel for the same price or in a hostel for nothing.
1 star for the map they gave.

It is located about 5 minutes on foot from Khaosan Road! The staff are also kind and take care of this and that. Haha They even lent me an umbrella for a while! The facility doesn't feel very new, but it was cozy and nice. There was nothing uncomfortable at all! 👍🏻☺️

What an amazing place! Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfy, had a little sitting room, and we even had our own private spa/pool. The hotel was close to everything. Will definitely be back to stay next time we're in Bangkok.

Classic Gingerbread Home near the Grand Palace
This was my second visit to this charming century old guesthouse. The classic architecture and wood paneling is exquisite. The hosts are very kind and friendly. The location is perfect for visiting the historic district of Phra Nakhon.

카오산로드 및 기타 올드타운 관광지 굉장히 가깝습니다.
하지만 시청 근처임에도 불구, 주변 큰길에 누워서 주무시는 분 많았습니다. 처음에는 무서웠어요.
고양이 정말 많이 귀엽습니다.
까마귀 새벽 5시부터 울어요.
일찍자야해요.
모기, 까마귀 괴로웠어요.
그 외의 교통, 음식점 모두 정말 많이 만족합니다.
다음에는 모기 없었으면 좋겠어요.

Relaxing stay but overpriced
This is a nice hotel and we had a relaxing stay for the most part, but I had higher expectations.
The pros: Good location, walking distance from several sights, beautifully designed and well-maintained premises, very cozy and comfortable rooms. And the staff was friendly (whenever we got a hold of them).
The cons: It was really hard to get a hold of the front desk staff, they were always "on break". The approach to this hotel is wretchedly filthy (Thailand is quite clean otherwise). I understand this is not the hotel's fault, but we did have to walk through the urine stench everyday. The rooms were very loud - some might consider this as charming but we did have a hard time sleeping. And lastly, our room had a jacuzzi - but it had cold water. It was fine for an afternoon dip - but not what I expect from a jacuzzi.
So this is a nice place, but for ~$200/night I expected more out of this hotel.

We have just enjoyed two lovely nights here in this attractive old house. Our room was spotless and spacious, the are is very quiet, it’s close to many restaurants and attractions, and the young lady who looked after us was so charming and helpful. It doesn’t do breakfast, that’s clearly stated so we knew that but they directed us to a lovely cafe just 5 minutes away so don’t winge about that, we would love to go back but could not get in a second time unfortunately, great stay in a house instead of the corporate hotels.

Baan Noppawong is a lovely, family-run hotel in the old city close to the Grand Palace. Our room (#6) was immaculate, quiet, a good size for two people, and the bed was really comfortable. The shower has great water pressure and very hot water - not that you will need much in Bangkok! The windows have no black-out shades, so you may need a mask if morning light bothers you. There are lots of restaurants and hawker stands within walking distance. The staff are fantastic - so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
