The four-day stay at GM Estate Hotel Bangkok was truly unforgettable for our family, including two elderly people in their 80s who were wheelchair-bound. It was already 1am when we checked in on the first night. When we were taking a shower, the drain on the floor backflowed and we had to use towels to soak up the water. The next day, when I went out with two elderly people in wheelchairs and returned to the hotel, the hotel staff not only did not open the door for us, but also angrily said that we would be fined because we had soiled the towels! I explained that there was a problem with the drainage in their hotel and we had no choice but to use a towel to dry it. However, the staff member kept pressing us and said that we should have informed them immediately instead of using a towel to dry it. It was really unreasonable! In addition, we stayed for four days and had to call every day to refill tea bags and towels. What kind of service is this! The worst part is that you can feel what racial and disability discrimination is in this hotel. Every day when we go out in wheelchairs, there is never any staff to welcome and assist us. On the contrary, when the staff see foreign guests, they will immediately greet us with a smile. It is really infuriating! If you don’t want to be unreasonably fined or discriminated against, GM Estate Bangkok is definitely your first choice! I have been Thailand for more than 30 years but I have never stayed such a terrible hotel. I checked in very late in my first day stay at around 1:00am. After I took a bath, I found the drainage of the toilet was very poor and that the water overflowed. I have no choice but to use towels to overcome it. Next day, when I returned to my room with my parents who are wheelchair bound, the staff of the hotel instead to help us back to my room but to stop me bruptly and showed me a picture that I would be charged as the towels were dirty. How ridiculous it is! Despite I explained the above to that staff, she insisted that it is my fault as I did not inform them the issue of overflow immediately. It was at that moment I can feel how warm the hospitality of such a hotel. Besides, there was no refill of tea bags and coffee capsules and bottles of water. Trust me, never choose such a hotel if you don’t want to have terrible experiences and nightmares! Last but not the least, we also experienced serious discrimination in such a terrible hotel. Every day, when I go out with my parents who are wheelchair bound, no staff of the hotel would greet nor assist us. However, whenever the staff of the hotel saw the foreign guests, they would greet them with a smile face immediately. How ridiculous it is! Trust me, if you wish to be unreasonably charged, if you wish to be discriminated against, if you wish to be badly treated, this hotel is definitely your first choice!

Inexperienced receptionists maybe due to new hotel. Not customers friendly. We were given a wrong exit no of Asok BTS when arrived. We were told to take exit 5 which is opposite to hotel direction. It should be exit 3. We have not been briefed at once during check iin on which floor the breakfast is seviced. Which floor is swimming pool located. The shuttle service is not as friendly as described on the hotel website. The shuttle service is only halfway from hotel to Asko BTS and you still have to walk halfway yourself. The shuttle service is provided with limited intervals yet you can request subject to availability of driver. However quality of breakfast is exceptionally good with excellent service from restaurant staff. This will compensate a little of disappointment with this hotel. My day was made with a surprising latte in the morning.
