I had a wonderful stay at Wallaya Heritage Stay in Bangkok, Thailand. I was very surprised by the perfect blend of modern and Thai elements. It’s definitely very stylish and comfortable. The location is quite good specially for those wanting to stay in the heart of the city. Furthermore, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

very nice location near city center

I have been to Bangkok many times, but I don't want to stay along Sukhumvit anymore. I hope to experience the real life of Bangkok more deeply. So I used heritage as the keyword to find this hotel. The experience of staying here is very good, which can be summarized as "the living and dining of wealthy families in Bangkok a hundred years ago" - the hotel is located in the old district (roughly similar to the old town of Liwan in Guangzhou). It is a three-story wooden building built in 1921. The first floor is the reception and restaurant, the second floor is several classrooms decorated with antique style, and the third floor has a large living room in addition to five suites. It can be imagined that a family must have been quite wealthy to own such a building a hundred years ago. I stayed for four days, and every breakfast was authentic Thai food, rich and beautiful! I deliberately left the morning of check-out to take pictures in the hotel. The rich and classical atmosphere of the hotel is particularly good for photos, and it is recommended that people who stay here should not miss it. Finally, I would like to praise several hospitable Thai beauties for giving people a wonderful feeling of being at home! This is a very beautiful and unforgettable experience! The traditional Thai house I chose specifically exceeded my expectations: it is located in a quiet residential area, surrounded by villas and apartments, very safe. The house is very beautiful, the room is very Thai style, the bed is very comfortable and big, the whole hotel is super clean, the staff is friendly, order breakfast in advance the night before, it is a set meal, confirm the time for breakfast, and eat directly the next day. There are many varieties to choose from, we chose American and pasta, fruits and Thai fried dough sticks are free, super delicious, drink grape juice and ice water, capsule coffee machine can be used, it is Starbucks capsule, and there is music in the lobby, very relaxing.

The room is nice, the breakfast is also very good, and it is a very romantic hotel. Some small items inside are also good, but there is a problem. The window is too close to the bedside table. It is easy to break the lamp on the table by opening the window. It would be more perfect if the spare bed was free for families with children to use, which can better reflect the humanity and inclusiveness of the homestay. The homestay we went to in Kuala Lumpur this summer can do this, and the five-star hotel Venetian in Macau can also do this.

The first communication on the day I returned to China was around 4 a.m. (After I informed the other party for the first time, I also said that I was sorry to bother you so early) It was later changed to 5 a.m. Maybe when I sent the message to the other party it was after 10 p.m. and there was no reply. This is normal. I came down at 4:50am to hand over the keys. When my friend came down, he was a little slow and didn't bring his key. The waiter's face changed and I could feel that he was unhappy. And she went up to get it herself, and I told my friend to go up and help get it as well. After returning the deposit, we politely said 88, but he ignored us. In these places, I felt what kind of malice there was. Overall, the hotel is good, the breakfast is good, and the sleep is comfortable.
