I have been waiting so long and looking forward to stay at this newly redeveloped hotel for the last 3-4 years since my last stay back in 10+ years ago……. Still, the service was good, located at most convenient place within Bangkok city centre……and with a magnificent superb view of the Lumphini Park from the guest room…..what a brilliant and fantastic view !!!  The lobby bar as well as the signature 1970 bar at the top floor are among the best in Bangkok apart from The Bamboo Bar at Mandarin Oriental and BKK Social Club at Four Seasons is which I like the most…..highly highly recommended for all of you. Services from staff (all levels of staff) are superb and friendly.  Room for improvement: I’d suggest the management to offer some more leisure sitting facilities near the entrance/front desk for guests (like the Mandarin Oriental) as my wife and I have been standing near the entrance long story waiting for taxi…….though I saw some guests chose to sit on the sofas at the lobby bar…..without ordering drinks……:)) Will definitely revisit this hotel again in near future.

During my recent stay at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel, I found the experience to be quite pleasant. The hotel's location along the Chao Phraya River offers stunning views, making it a lovely backdrop for relaxation. The staff were consistently courteous and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met with a warm smile. While the amenities were generally satisfactory, I felt that the room could benefit from a few modern touches to enhance comfort further. Nevertheless, the overall ambiance of the hotel, coupled with its convenient location near major attractions, made for a memorable visit. I would certainly consider returning for another stay in the future.

Hotel was newly renovated and really really nice. Room is big and clean, equipment very nice and convenient. Location not bad. need some walk to main road, but very peaceful. We love the balcony, and restaurant for brunch. Nice view and comfortable. However, staffs were mostly friendly but not very well-trained. Some did not even greeting us when met at the elevator or corridors, which should not happen at a five star hotel we thought. Overall, we like this hotel, hope can have better experience next time.

The sunset view from the river view rooms are absolutely divine!!!! You can just sit by the sofa and time will just pass you by

I have had some great experiences and stayed at some great hotels, but this hotel here is THE BEST. I have never experienced anything close to this in 51 years of life. I want to start with the service. I have usually just liked some great people here and there, but here it was so across the board. Rajiv at pool bar, Piku and Ploy at breakfast bar(actually was too many to name here). Donut at spa. The whole front desk area and even housekeeping I could literally go on and on. Service really is 15 out of 10. The hotel is very clean, everything works here, and appears updated. The breakfast buffet food with the staff too, is probably best in the world. We didn’t realize at first, but the hotel is really close to a lot, and BTS nearby too. The view was amazing on 17th floor.

Agree with other guests that hotel need to improve the training on service. For a start, Bell boy should offer help with luggage instead of waiting to be asked which is weird for hotel with staircase to lobby. And it’s unprofessional that the bell boy would wait for tip for bringing luggage to the room. The man in spec and wear brown is most cheerful and helpful staff that greets guest at hotel. Waitress unwell should wear mask instead of coughing in the restaurant while serving. Breakfast is lacking in both variety and quality. The bed and pillow are very comfortable and house keeping does a good job. The switch and plugs are located dangerously close to the pillow.

Perfect location that is close to many day / night markets, bars / rooftop bars, and restaurants. Hotel rooftop pool & restaurant / bar are decent. Gym is small but does the job. Very clean and decent hotel overall. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend, good value for money.

Very nice hotel. The swimming pool is an amazing place to chill. The staff is also very lovely. The location is also good, just across Lumpini Park and ONE Bangkok.
