Hotels in Canggu, Bali

Overall the Hotel is lovely, I’d give it a 7/10. Pros: good location in Canggu Breakfast buffet was delicious  Coffee was great! Decent kids club Pool is nice but can get overcrowded easily Kids room is perfect for families as it has bunk beds. Cons: Room design is poor and very small. We travelled with a baby and requested a cot. With the cot in the room it became very difficult to move around. We had to request a bigger room (kids room) Light switches - these have to be the most confusing switches I’ve ever used. It’s basically a game of pushing them all at different intervals to try and get the correct lights to go on/off Choose the room with ocean view unless you want to overlook construction sites (but noise didn’t affect in room) Not pram friendly - limited ramps for pram The power cut out on consecutive days in our room which was annoying given the heat. Staff service was average, some struggled to converse in English Overall, I’d stay there again but would book the bigger room for sure.

Good location, lots of cafes nearby, beautiful well-kept area, nice pool, smiling administration. What I didn't like: Be prepared for the fact that the toilet is open to the street and insects fly in there, although it seems to be the norm in Bali. A huge scary bug flew in to me at night. What else? Be prepared for the fact that cleaning will be once every 3 days, and they woke me up at 9 am, although I work in the Moscow time zone and go to bed quite late. They knocked on my door very actively and woke me up. I said let's come later, they replied that they would not come later, only now. I had to get up, after that I was constantly with a ”do not disturb” sign There is also not a window, but a sliding door, I was visible throughout the entire hotel, I have to constantly close the curtains. Perhaps this is a problem with the first floor Overall, I rate the stay 4 out of 5, precisely because of these inconveniences and unclear cleaning. If you came to relax, then bad internet will not bother you, but I worked and experienced a lot of inconveniences with the internet.

service was exceptional! reception staff greeted us every single time we walked past, and helped us whenever we needed help. room was also clean and comfortable to stay in. definitely worth the price! would like to extend our gratitude to the staff there especially Dayu who was super friendly and helpful with all my queries 🤣. 10/10 would stay here again when i visit bali again in the future.

Here's a revised version of your review: --- **Great Stay, but Checkout Drama** Our stay at this 4-bedroom villa in Canggu was fantastic! It was perfect for our family of two adults, two kids, and a baby. The villa offered plenty of space, a beautiful private pool, and all the amenities we needed. It’s well-located near cafes, restaurants, and shops, yet still quiet and peaceful. However, the drama started at checkout. They accused us of taking a pool towel and even opened our suitcase in front of our children to check, but found nothing. After insisting they check the CCTV footage, it turned out nothing was missing. It seems the housekeeping may have miscounted the towels, but they refused to acknowledge that. I’d advise anyone staying at a villa to ask for a checklist after housekeeping to avoid these kinds of issues—especially when dealing with children in front of them.

This is a great hotel…unfortunately surrounded by construction BUT also surrounded by amazing cafes and restaurants. Stars: short walk to the beach. love the design. Great service. Great food. Clean. In room Kitchenette. Excellent rooftop pool and bar. I especially enjoyed the live acoustic performance on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Wishes: the bed was softer, the construction would end and that the shower had a better water pressure. Overall I would totally stay again when all the surrounding construction is done.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, and they were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early. The room service was available anytime upon request, which was incredibly convenient. The staff were nice and always helpful. The hotel's location was perfect, with numerous supermarkets, convenience stores, and massage spas nearby. Highly recommend this place!

location is excellent, a short walk and we reach the beach. another short work and we reach the shopping streets. service was amazing, breakfast was good. rooms- they were so spacious and comfortable. but cleanliness can be improved. another big con is that on 1 of the nights that we stayed, there was another bar beside the hotel that was SO NOISY with its night event (the music was SO SO LOUD) that we couldn’t sleep without ear plugs. if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to avoid this hotel. but the night event is only on specific days (tues/wed and fri) so you might want to check this out before booking. but other than that, i LOVED my stay!

Really enjoyed coming back to Aston Canggu after 1 year to see that the bathrooms have been refurbished. The breakfast buffet spread remains unbeatable to me. The bed is comfy and the stay was enjoyable. Location-wise, really close to the beach with great sunsets but on Fridays and Saturdays, the sound coming from the club next door was pretty loud despite living on the 3rd floor, yes I know sound travels upwards, sound proofing could be improved. The room door is also rather thin, you could hear kids running and screaming in the corridor or just adults if they are talking loudly.

This hotel is a wonderful hotel and the staff are the best who I met in hotel receptions around the country I traveled especially MS sagungy and the Tul tuk driver , they are an excellent peoples , r the breakfast is delious and variety , hotel location is great and closed about 400 meter to Finn club and I advise any traveler to stay in this hotel   Atlas and many nice restaurant .

Because there were no rooms for the second night, we upgraded to a garden view room, which was actually a very small patio surrounded by walls and you couldn't see outside at all. The room was also very small. I felt that the price/performance ratio was not high, maybe because of the location. The bottled water in the refrigerator was charged, and the bottled water outside was free. I didn't notice the difference and thought they were all free. When I checked out, I was asked to pay more than 100 RMB: 4 bottles of water. This price.
