Hotels in Sanur, Bali

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Bali, and I can confidently say it was a wonderful experience. The price is good. Hotel is clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. The environment is beautifully maintained. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic view; whether it was from common areas and garden, the scenery was simply breathtaking. Another great aspect of the Hyatt Regency Bali is its location. It located next to Sanur Harbour, it’s incredibly convenient for anyone looking to explore Nusa Penida. This made it easy to plan day trips without any hassle. Overall, I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Bali for anyone looking for a clean, beautiful hotel with excellent service and a great location!

This was the perfect place to stay when I first arrived in Bali. The private plunge pool in the room was such a nice touch, and I was warmly welcomed by Lintang, which made the start of my trip even more enjoyable. The location is great too — Icon Bali is just a short walk away, so it was easy to grab food or pick up anything I needed. Highly recommended!

I traveled with my 84 year old grandmother and 4 year old daughter. The front gate was under renovation, but that didn't detract from the beautiful driveway and reception. It felt very palatial. The check-in process was easy, and our rooms were ready by 230pm. We had two superior rooms, and they were on the smaller side but had everything you needed and was well laid out. The tirta restaurant service was quite slow and the food was fine. The woodfire pizza was a hit with my daughter. The grounds are beautifully maintained. My only criticisms would be that there was no kids menu advertised anywhere or even mentioned to us until I asked why they didn't have one at check out and was told they did. The kids club is really only suitable for toddlers they way it's equipped. The bikes for hire are also quite expensive considering the condition they are in, and my biggest issue was the appearance of the kids' waterside area. I was under the impression there was a renovation on it, but it is really quite run down. In saying that it didn't stop my child and the little friends she made from having a ball. The location was further south, and then we have stayed before but there is still easy access to everything sanur has to offer and right on the beach.

1. On Trip website shows that Holidayinn has a nice beach and sun beds on beach (see photos) It DOES NOT have a beach access and sun beds on it. You need to walk few minutes towards sea side (see photos) and it does not look pleasant, clean and nice. 2. On Trip website says that Holidayinn will charge for your child under 17 half price for breakfast (about 80-90 k rupees). They have charged full price as they say that from 12 y o it counts as adult. Only if you have Holidayinn app , you can have a small discount (see photos). Breakfast has been costed 145 k rupees with discount. 3. On Trip website shows that Holidayinn has a gym with machines (see photos). It DOES NOT have machines to work. See photos. That small one in left corner has “baby” size like for kids. I had a chat with Holidayinn manager. She has done all records about this disinformation and apologies. She has informed me that it is not them who shows wrong details but it should be asked to Trip website.

The Bali Beach hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The service and friendliness of all the staff was an absolute credit to the hotel and made our stay all the more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, with staff always on hand with a friendly smile. The breakfast and dinner dining was great too with an amazing selection offered at the breakfast buffet catering for all tastes. The room itself has recently been renovated and opening the doors to a Bali sunrise over the ocean was magic. The location is a 5 to 10 minute walk south to a number of bars and restaurants with Icon Bali being only around 10 minutes on foot. Will definitely be back, to Sanur and the Bali Beach Hotel!!

“Magnificent” is an understatement to describe our experience staying at The Meru Sanur. The warm hospitality of the staff and luxurious experience made me wanna stay longer if only I could. Not to mention the relaxing atmosphere having a less crowded beach front, and their breakfast buffet that fills you up until tea time. If you are someone having second thoughts in booking the hotels and checking the reviews, I am telling you now, book the hotel now!

I enjoyed my stay and I was surprised by how calm it was inside the hotel. The decoration is done with a tasteful touch. The staff make you all feel welcome. Check in and out was great. I was able to stay and do some work after checking out. The restaurant food and drinks were very good. Portions were a bit small for me but it seems to be the case outside too. The hotel guests enjoyed great discounts at the restaurant, the happy hours is also available as room service. Every night a weather card was distributed for the following day. And you could top up your water bottle or hing else if needed. This boutique hotel is definitely keeper. I had a nice end of my stay in Bali thanks to Maison Aurelia. Thank you 🙏

Hotel's greeting & staff waiting at front lobby to welcome us. Check-in & out is fast. Dining restaurant and Swimming pools are great and nice. Room Cabana with private pool is what we want to enjoy these holidays but it can be viewed from storeys above us. Buffet dinner is standard but the BBQ lilit prawn & ayam cannot be missed. Walking distance to ICON Mall and lots of food stuffs around the hotel. Pasar Sindhu night market should not be missed whenever visiting Sanur. A very enjoyable and pleasent stays at cabana room. A note to the HOTEL: pls do some modification to the sliding doors as any gaps will invite lots of Mosquitos into the room.

Location is good, hotel is comfortable even it is worn out a little bit. Approx 45min from airport (around 300Rp by taxi). 5 min walk to the beach, where locals appear to prefer for swimming. A lot of local restaurants and cafes around. 10min walk to Sanur harbor, which makes it convenient for us to stay before going to Nusa Penida. They charge Rp100kfor each hour of late check out. Breakfast is acceptable, where they charge extra for latte. Inner garden with the pool is relaxing. I would recommend the facility for short term stays rather than long ones.

I only looked at the advertising photos provided by the hotel, but when I actually went there, there was a bit of a difference. I highly recommend it if you are looking for an affordable beachfront hotel. However, there were a bit more bugs than other places (I've stayed at other hotels and villas). I killed 4-5 mosquitoes a day in my room. The hotel gave us earplugs because there was a huge construction going on next door, but the construction was really noisy. I thought it wouldn't be noisy at night, but construction work runs 24 hours a day... However, what was noisier than the construction was actually the sound of the old refrigerator and bathroom. So, I unplugged the refrigerator. I highly recommend it if you don't care much about accommodation and are looking for an inexpensive place to stay near the beach. The accommodation isn't that bad... However, if you can spend a little more money, I think there are many other places. I'm going to Sanur again, but I don't plan on staying here.
