This hotel is too wonderful; from the facilities to the service, everything left a deep impression on me. I visited during Indonesia's rainy season, so if lucky, you could see both sunrise and sunset, but if not, it was all rainy days. During my stay, I experienced various weather conditions, from heavy rain to sunny days. The pool was stunning, offering a view of the nearby peaks on clear days. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly. The massages at the hotel were even better than the ones I tried in Thailand, and the scenery in the massage area was particularly beautiful. The floating breakfast not only looked good but also tasted delicious. I scheduled breakfast for 6:30 AM but unfortunately missed the sunrise due to overcast weather. The hotel provided a 15-minute foot massage and a free terraced rice field tour the next day. Near the hotel, there's Gembleng Waterfall, with a beautiful but slippery terrain during the climb. It would be better if there was hot water in the sink in the room. There were few outlets in the room, and I had to unplug the bedside lamp to charge my phone. No bottled water in the room was a bit inconvenient. The kettle's cord was short, and the kettle was faulty. Always remember to close the door to prevent insects from entering. The hotel offered a reasonably priced taxi reservation service; for trips to the city center, it's advisable to book at least 2 hours in advance. If heading to the town center, hotel staff can arrange a motorcycle ride. The hotel's pricing is friendly, and the staff's service is excellent. Thanks to them, my time in Bali was exceptionally wonderful. PS: If the hotel's cocktails and restaurant food could be improved, it would be even more perfect.

We didn’t stay at this hotel but visited a lot during our time in Sideman! It has a beautiful pool, an amazing restaurant with a stunning view, and a great selection of tours which is what kept us coming back! We booked a lovely tour of the rice fields one day and the second day we booked the motor bike tour which was just as good! We also had a massage which was really well priced. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Yes, it is indeed relatively mountainous and remote. So the advantage is that there are fewer tourists than in the seaside area. It is suitable for people who want to be quiet and close to nature for healing. Currently, there are very few Asian tourists and many Europeans. The room is very comfortable, but there are inevitably a lot of ants and insects when staying in a villa, which is normal. The catering, especially the breakfast, is not the usual format of a big hotel. It is an a la carte and exquisite form. The main front desk service can meet the needs even if they are needed. It exceeds expectations and is pleasant! When you walk out of the hotel, there are actually many cafes and restaurants outside that are very comfortable and offer massages, etc. . . . Summarize It is highly recommended for those who really want to rest! If you want to be crazy and lively, go to Kuta!

Wow wow wow! Amazing place Hubby and I we stayed here for 5 nights. What a delight. We had room 6 which was the smallest and furthest from the pool next to open rice paddies. We fell asleep every night to the sound of nature and had ducks waffling past every morning. The setting with a view of the ‘sleeping elephant’ mountain is divine. The room - newly constructed from old Javanese teak with lovely old features. Comfy bed, TV, fridge. Great brand new bathroom, new tiles and fittings, perfect shower brand new with instant hot water. Great AC. Spotlessly clean and no bugs at all on the room which is impressive in such a remote setting. There is also an on-site restuarant if you want to dine in. We would say you need a scooter to fully appreciate the surroundings, We hired a new N Max from the hotel with two helmets for 150,000IDR per day as we wanted a good powerful bike for the hills. Resort is away from Sidemen 10 mins by scooter road is good a little bumpy near resort but not an issue for us. We would definitely recommend this place if you don’t mind being a little out of town. The only small feedback is room 6 had no wardrobe or hanging space and no kettle but we got it for a great price so no complaints. Also refillable water would be good to save on plastic. A gorgeous gem highly recommend!!!

The hotel is located in beautiful scenery, the staff were helpful and the photos online are what you see when you arrive. Unfortunately for us, when we arrived we weren’t shown to the room with the wonderful views that we had booked 7 months prior to our arrival, with our plan being to spend four days relaxing on the balcony and soaking up the view. The room we were shown to was certainly comfortable with a lovely bathroom, but it looked out onto the edge of the pool and a couple of sun beds only - see photo. Hotel staff were apologetic, acknowledged the error and offered a discount on that room as the hotel was full and the room type we booked were all occupied (lucky them). For us there was no point being at Sawah Indah without the view! Staff refunded us without question and we moved on after one night (too late to organise anything the first afternoon.) We found the staff and manager good to deal with, but were very disappointed that after doing things right from our end we didn’t have the experience we had planned. We would love to return and soak in those views on another trip. Next time I’ll be contacting the hotel directly after booking to check that we will have the room type as booked.
