The room is big and the view is beautiful, directly facing the sea. The breakfast in the morning is also great, but there are a lot of bugs outside

We came to Maua after our previous hotel cancelled within 24 hours of our arrival so trip.com organised a replacement. We hadn't looked at Penida but glad we ended up there as it was easier to visit the main island sights. Firstly, the location has stunning volcano and sunset views. They were incredible. The location as far as everything else goes however is only good if you do not need immediate access to a beach, bars, restaurants etc. There are a couple of homestay type restaurants within a 10 minute walk through what can only be described as a dirt track with many large, deep pot holes and puddles so get your hiking boots ready if you want to venture out. Everything else will need a taxi and they're expensive here. If you are happy to stay, eat and drink at the resort apart from day trips, the location is ideal. The staff were excellent. Linda gave us a very efficient and helpful check-in. The restaurant was quite slow but Ayu really looked after us, making our dining experiences more special along with the other staff. They were always very busy so i can only assume they are understaffed because it wasn't full of guests. The food was very well presented and (apart from the lamb chop which was like an old boot) mostly good quality with a good variety of healthy and regular, tasty food options. The breakfast has so many options, it was really very good. The Spa was good value and we had a very relaxing 150m treatment. 20 minute taxi ride from the harbour started at 250k. We negotiated the driver to 100k. Still more expensive than Thailand. The price of food here is quite steep and they add 21% service/VAT which is more than what you pay on Bali island. If you take a cab (or walk if feeling adventerous) to Crystal Beach, they have great food/drink options at reasonable prices. They have a no drone policy which is great, but be aware if they have wedding guests, you may have a drone flying over your 'private' pool/garden for a few hours which was very unsettling. After speaking to the manager, all was resolved quickly. We hired a taxi driver to take us to all of the east and west island sights, price 900k for the whole day (start 10am, arrive back around 6.30pm). All in all, this hotel is stunning and the rooms are great. The staff are simply excellent and we had a great experience on Penida. Thank you to the Maua staff for making the hotel a great place to stay.

I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had💖. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome.We were impressed by the excellent service and the kind, helpful, and friendly staff 🤗 . They went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The team went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, providing personalized recommendations for local attractions and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would like to mention our friends Suwendri, Agus Pragusa and Ira 😉 …. The hotel itself is a beautiful . The location of the hotel was also ideal. Set away from the hustle and bustle, is ideal for anyone looking for a quiet retreat while still being close enough to explore the island’s top key attractions. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and we couldn’t get enough of the yummy food. Dining at The Sebali Hotel was also a delight. With a wide variety of both local and international dishes, all freshly prepared with top-quality ingredients. The breakfast spread was especially impressive, with a wide range of options to suit any taste. One particular and heartwarming moment that touched us was when we had to miss breakfast due to an early day trip .Without hesitation, the staff prepared a thoughtful and delicious takeaway breakfast for us. It was not only delicious but also showed their incredible attention to detail and care for their guests. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with a stunning aesthetic that made it feel like a luxurious retreat. It was a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional Balinese style. The attention to detail is stunning – from the luxurious linens to the beautiful décor. The private balconies with breathtaking views of the lush surroundings and the peaceful ambiance made it hard to leave! The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We loved having direct pool access right from our room — it made the whole experience even more special. Overall, our experience at TheSebali Hotel was beyond exceptional and we prolonged our stay there for 2 days 🥹. So I highly recommend The Sebali Penida to anyone visiting Nusa Penida. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet tranquil escape in Bali, this is the place to be. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and luxurious accommodations makes it an ideal place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning! I can’t wait to come back! 🥰

I think this hotel is one of the best hotels on Nusa Penida because the environment on Nusa Penida is really bad. But this hotel is in contrast with the environment of the whole island. You can see Mount Agung from the swimming pool. The food in the hotel is also very delicious, but it is not very cheap. There are a lot of flies in the restaurant. But the spa in the hotel is really cheap and comfortable.

The room was clean, tidy, and unique. We could clearly see many stars at night. However, because there were inevitably bugs and geckos in the forest, the landlord helped us catch them. We are very sorry that we got the Bali time wrong (the iPhone can only be adjusted to Jakarta time. We thought it was the same as Bali time. It turns out that Bali is the East Eighth District time and there is no need to adjust it one hour later. ! The time on our mobile phone was wrong), so we came back an hour late after booking a car with the landlord. The landlord and driver waited for us for an hour, which was so embarrassing! Thank you very much too!

Great place! Very friendly staff, the girls are great. I felt like a long-awaited guest) clean pool, clean bed linen. Amazing view. And you can also walk to the village, where you are met by charming locals and there are grocery stores.

I liked fast settlement, delicious kitchen, nice service, next time we settle here again. The prayers about which everyone is writing have not brought us any inconvenience

Good bungalows for the money; of course, you can find something to complain about, but the price takes into account the shortcomings. The rooms are good, cleaned, the pool is warm, the view is gorgeous! You can eat breakfast. Ants quickly run to the left food, but the employee will spray and wipe it off. I liked that the administrator herself wrote in WhatsApp, and was in touch with any questions. You can walk from the pier, but you need to find a ”hole”, it's good if a local tells you where it is, then there will be an uphill climb. A taxi will go around, it will cost 150-200k. On the next street you can take a bike, snorkeling, an excursion.

To be honest, this hotel is beyond my imagination. I didn't expect much from the island, but the room was very clean, the sea is right outside, and the Agung volcano on Bali is visible. There is a Vietnamese rice noodle restaurant next to it, which tastes good. If I have to make any request, it would be breakfast. Also, the chickens next to it are too crazy and scream too loudly. But the flaws do not outweigh the merits, the scenery is simply too good.
