We booked the Alam Bay for a couple of nights with quite a few mixed feelings about it. At first we thought the location was great being on the beach until we actually looked at the beach. It was full of fishing boats and general trash everywhere, and not an ounce of golden sand to be seen. The pictures taken from the hotel do not show the beach in its true light. We had room 04 which was on the ground floor but the problem was that there was construction going on next door and the Wi-Fi struggled to reach our room. The room itself is very spacious but it is quite tired in places. The bathroom could severely do with some maintenance, as the toilet was leaking at the base and the seat was cracked making your oblutions somewhat difficult and dangerous ! The flaking paint on the ceiling just finished the impression. The TV suffered from the poor wifi and spent most of its time "trying to connect". Although the hotel served beer there didn't appear to be a restaurant so we had to eat outside. Fortunately the small Warung next door provided some great food on both nights. The staff that checked us in were very friendly and pleasant although I can't rate the overall service highly as nobody bothered to clean our room, or provide us with new towels or water during our stay.

Firstly, the good: the room was spacious with an amazing sea view from the window and views of the village, jungle covered hills and Mount Agung from the wrap-around balcony. The sea is mere steps away and has gorgeous snorkeling just a few meters from the shore. Staff were attentive and helpful. Great cafes and warungs immediately around the hotel. We were pretty much in heaven. However - and this can easily be fixed - the shower drain in the bathroom lacks a gas trap, meaning sewage smells emanate from the drain the whole time. This meant we had to keep the bathroom, which is also poorly ventilated, closed at all times. The one time we went out forgetting to close the bathroom door, the whole room stank hideously. The staff were helpful, providing air freshener and incense to cover the smell, but a visit from a good plumber would fix this entirely. Aside from this glaring issue, I would highly recommend.

I booked a deluxe room With a direct view of the beach. Having coffee with a direct view of the mountains and the beach, but unfortunately at that time it was unlucky because it was raining,

The room is spacious, comfortable large bed, ocean view and large terrace where you can chill (alone) Caring staff. There are good restaurants, coffee shop and a snorkeling spot (with turtles) nearby. Cons: strange water supply system in the bathroom - for the shower to work you need to open the sink or flush the toilet tank. Despite the assurances of the staff, on the third day there was a smell of sewage. I understood that this is normal for Bali.

Not a bad hotel in a high-rise. Not old, not worn out. The rooms are clean. Lots of different fines for all sorts of crap. I advise you to read the rules carefully (like throwing away disposable slippers in the wrong place) Overall, recommended

Excellent location of the hotel, in a quiet place on the seashore! Very friendly staff. Not bad breakfasts. Clean pool! All rooms with a beautiful view of the sea. The panoramic platform offers a view of the volcano. Warungs/shops nearby. Cons - the hotel is old, a little tired. Problems with hot water and an unpleasant smell from the bathroom.

The hotel is value for money. We were given 1 room, on the 2nd floor. The view is gorgeous right from the bed. We didn't take breakfast. True, in order for the water to flow in the shower, you first need to: 1) Flush the toilet 2) Turn on the water in the sink (do not turn it off) 3) Turn on the shower 😁 We were more amused than upset by this The sea is three steps away. Of course, there are very few fish near the hotel, it is better to go snorkeling and look at the turtles (it's 5 minutes by bike), look at the map. You can rent a mask and fins (25,000idr mask + 25,000idr fins)

The service, hygiene, and viewing location are all great. There is an open-air balcony with sea views and a swimming pool, which is suitable for relaxation. It is a very thoughtful experience and the impression is very good!

Excellent hotel. Situated right on the ocean shore. There is a terrace for relaxation on the second floor, which offers a beautiful view of the Agung volcano. There is a small problem with the water supply (I had to turn on the water in the shower and in the sink at the same time to have good pressure)

Small old hotel. Not very cozy and a bit dirty. But in the first line and with access to the sea. Nothing special.

We spent 4 nights in this very small charming hotel at a very reasonable price very bright room by the sea with swimming pool very beautiful view of Mount Agung exceptional sunset the staff is charming. I really recommend this hotel even if it is not at the same level as a Resort but considering the price it is really very good
