So, the staff are fantastic and very helpful! But to be totally honest with you, I would not have paid around $110 per night for this place. It’s comparable to other places that are half the price in my opinion. The ceilings and wooden structure was not sealed properly and had gaps which meant that bigger bugs were coming through. The door was not closing properly and to be honest i don’t see the point of having a lock on it at all when it can still slide partially open. It was definitely nice and clean inside. AC worked well. Wi-Fi was on and off in the room so not good if you need reliable internet. Breakfast was good however my husbands food was infested with ants on multiple occasions (I’m talking 20+ ants on one plate). If I could go back I’d book a different place to be honest. It didn’t have a luxury feel and it was not worth the price. Also, the pool could’ve done with regular upkeep as there were lots of bugs and things in the water.

Great cottages! Service is extremely friendly and helpful, food in restaurant (breakfast and dinner) also super nice. But the view: amazing. That alone is worth coming - highly recommend!

Nice hotel, but there is construction going on, it is difficult to get up the hill

I don’t know how to rate Ctrip’s four stars. The room and corridor were all made of broken wood. As soon as the baby passed by, he was pricked in his hand by a wooden thorn, and it cut his skin and cried for a long time before he pulled it out. The quality of the facilities is very poor and old, with broken glass in the shower, shaky faucets, no shower head in the shower, and no instructions for shower gel and shampoo. The hygiene of the room is also very worrying, the dust accumulation is very obvious. The public area facilities are as shown in the picture, and the seats are all moldy. The location is also very inexplicable, on a hilltop, and has nothing to do with the beach.

The room is very good, no problem, the staff is very friendly, in terms of facilities, the water heater is a little weak. I will choose it again in the future, the view is really good

The view from the family room is better, you can see the sea and the volcano. It is easier for bugs to enter the room, but this is normal I had a spa in the room and it was very cheap. The food was average, but the small balcony felt particularly nice. I lay there leisurely for a few days.

Facing the sea🌊 Daphila, located on a hill next to the sea, has a quiet and beautiful side. You can sit at the door of the room or at the bar at the bottom and enjoy nature. The breakfast at the hotel is delicious, and you can also order dinner to enjoy the sunset. You don’t have to worry about traffic when you charter a car in Nusa Penida

The middle location between the east and west lines is slightly closer to the pier. It takes about 50 minutes to reach Diamond Beach and Elf Beach respectively. The environment is good. Facing the sea, you can clearly see the volcano in the morning. The only drawback is that the bathing water is very small. , I don’t know if it’s the same on all islands. The bathing water is a bit salty.

The room is nice and cost-effective. I will come again next time

Penida is too hot and sunny. There is no problem with the hotel and the service is very good.

Beautiful environment, clean sea view room

Staff were amazing, super helpful in arranging everything for us. I proved myself hopeless on a scooter so we were limited to the hotel-arranged taxis, relatively pricey but no other option. Food at the hotel may be limited but it’s good and very, very reasonably priced. Hotel restaurant is very small and not very inviting - luckily our food was served at a table next to our room. We really liked the room itself, we had one of the split-level rooms with two double beds at the top which was perfect for our family. In honesty, the daily cleaning of the rooms wasn’t great and should be improved. You’re slightly out of the way at this hotel so are held hostage to some extent by limited food options or taxis to a restaurant. Pool is really nice and view is awesome. Bear in mind there are no umbrellas and no shade at the pool - I guess they didn’t want to break up the sea view from the rooms closer to the pool. Again, staff in general were super helpful and really, really good.
