Our stay at The Tamarind in Lembongan was absolutely wonderful. The service was impeccable, and the staff's kindness truly made our experience unforgettable. A special thank you to Tya and Ade, who were incredibly warm and attentive throughout our stay.
The view from the hotel is breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama that made every moment feel like a dream. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment.
The breakfast was a delightful start to each day, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Overall, our time at The Tamarind was perfect, and we can't wait to return.

An amazing, beautiful hotel, loved my stay. Room is basic but big, with a nice terrace. Breakfast is amazing with huge portions; I still dream about their Mie Goreng and smoothie bowl. This place has 3 pools, 2 of them infinity pools, and I had a whole pool to myself 2 days as there weren’t many guests (now is off season). Service was the best I’ve had in Bali- staff all remembered my name, nothing was too much for them to do. I had wanted to visit the spa at 7pm on my last night but it closed at 7, then reception called and said they would keep the spa open for me! Very much appreciated. I also spoke to the manager when I was checking out and he knew what my forward plans were and seemed genuinely interested in having a chat. Reception guy was from Penida so was able to help me get the boat transfer no problem. I will say if you want a room with a bathtub to double-check with the hotel when you book, as all the pictures showed bathtubs but turns out top floor rooms don’t have them. Every evening they give a turndown service and give you free cake; the only thing I would suggest is that they knock first, as each time they just walked into my room 😂 Thankfully I was clothed…Overall an amazing stay, would definitely recommend.

I stayed on the island for 6 days and took a diving test. This hotel is already a better hotel on the island, at least in terms of price. But the hotel room is not big, and the bathroom shower and bathtub are combined, which is too inconvenient! Another complaint is that the layout of the bathroom is like a prison in the movie...
The interior and exterior environment of the hotel are still OK. There are three swimming pools inside, the deepest of which is 2 meters, which is pretty good. Because the exterior is located at a relatively high position, the view is better, and you can directly see the sea and the main street.
The food is OK, and the price is not expensive.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that the hotel can help book other companies' boat tickets, which is different from Taobao. This boat does not need to get your feet wet throughout the journey, and you can board the boat directly on the deck, which is very good.

Harry at Tamerind was so amazing! He helps us every time we come to Tamerind he looks after us so well. The food for breakfast was delicious. The Tamarind Resort Hotel was a wonderful experience. I know many people complain of the stairs but you are located on the hill and have a magnificent view. I enjoyed the pool and views. The staff were extremely friendly and caring. The food is very good and fresh. During my stay I had a motorbike accident, and locals were so helpful and the hotel staff was just as kind, they checked on me and offered to bring a doctor in if we needed. The staff was spot on and kind. We had great conversations with them and they were happy to be there and enjoyed their jobs. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful spot, room was spacious with fantastic views. Bed was comfortable and pillows soft. Staff and food were fabulous too. My only negative is this place is not suitable for those with mobility issues as there are lots of steps. Didn’t worry us but without a lift it would be an issue for elderly or disabled.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner. We stayed in a garden view room. Rooms were modern, clean, comfy and look good. Pools were amazing, restaurant is amazing, staff are super friendly and really make an effort. It was really nice to come back to the oasis in the hotel after being out in the “hustle and bustle” and heat.

This is a smart boutique hotel which is very friendly and personable. The staff are lovely, helpful and attentive. The food was also particularly good. I loved the pool by the restaurant but beware it made all my silver bangles tarnish hopefully they can be polished once I am home. I wanted to point this out if you have any jewellery you wouldn’t want to damage. We booked a buggy for the day to explore the island and this was a highlight. You are also very conveniently located for the boat transfer to and from mainland Bali. Large rooms nice balcony and bathrooms. Robes and slippers provided. Any problems are promptly sorted. Must also point out there are lots of stairs and I am just in the age bracket where this detail is good to know beforehand. Loved our stay here.

We spend 6 night in the island and the resort and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at Tamarind, and the convenient location. The view is stunning and the top infinity pool faces Balis volcano beautifully. The room had a nice view over the bay and we stayed 3 in one room (one extra bed). Good sized room but somewhat limited space to store clothes/suitcases given we were 3 people staying more than just a couple of days. The staff is very friendly and supportive, especially as several became sick during our stay (Bali belly), and the hotel offered special food and medication to such guests. The Saturday BBQ was good and good in general ok, maybe not the most delicious we have had on the island but possible to order to the room or to the pool which was appreciated. Breakfast is served a’la carte with set menus, a lot of focus on eggs that you can also have as you like. Sometimes the set menus are a bit complicated when/if you simply want a plain yoghurt with granola and a toast with cheese and ham. Overall, a nice stay and we wish we could have done a Nusa Penida tour which we had planned, but instead got sick. Next time ☺️ E-Bike rental possible on the hotel / nice to go to the mangrove side of the island (calmer there!) - but beware of the traffic, crazy on the small roads and not safe without helmet and experience!

We absolutely adored our stay here! Our experience at this remarkable resort over the course of six nights was truly exceptional. First and foremost, the staff members were beyond amazing: Harry, Putu, Ade, Anton, and all the other wonderful people who took care of us. I've stayed at numerous places before, but the level of warmth and care we received here was truly rare, making our holiday even more delightful. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need. We indulged in delicious meals and drinks, and the kids couldn't get enough of the fresh fruit plates, pesto pasta, steak sandwiches, and the incredible breakfast with a multitude of choices. We stayed in one of the top-notch villas, villa 9, which was conveniently situated right in front of the kids pool. Although there were quite a few stairs, we quickly got used to them. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an amazing rooftop daybed, large TVs in every room, a comfortable lounge and kitchen, as well as a washing machine (no dryer), the villa provided ample space and a fantastic setup. It even featured a balcony and air conditioning. The rooms were impeccably cleaned on a daily basis, and the kids adored the nightly turn-down service, which always included delightful small cakes. Unfortunately, we fell ill with Bali belly, which can be expected on trips to Bali. However, the hotel promptly organized a doctor and ensured we had everything we needed. Within 24 hours, we were feeling much better and able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. We would return to this place in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to our friends. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Tamarind Resort team for providing us with a perfect family holiday.
